Like something out of a "Southern Living” magazine, this original 1950 cabin has been completely restored. It's rare because it is only 12 feet from the waters edge and you can no longer build that close to the shoreline. We used reclaimed artifacts from the original cabin whenever possible. It's rustic yet has all the modern conveniences.
Located on Lake Wylie, we are a short 25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. The property sits on 1.2 acres and has over 350 feet of waterfront with lots of wood decking to enjoy and relax. We love it so much, we now live next door and would love to share the amenities with you. You have unlimited use of our kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and paddle boat or you are welcome to bring your own boat if you like since the cabin has it's own private dock. And if you would like to rent a pontoon for the day, we can arrange for that as well.
The kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. In the master bathroom, we have an authentic whiskey barrel sink. Relax in the living room by the original wood burning fireplace and enjoy the flat screen TV. The cabin has the most amazing views of the lake with over 180 degrees of lake view.

We had such an relaxing and amazing time at the cabin. We felt so at home and can't wait to come back to sight see. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality I woild recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway!
What a wonderful family vacation! This cabin is perfect we're a family of four with two children ages 6 & 8 and they had a great time! You can fit up to 6 easily in this cabin with plenty of room. The views from the cabin are breathtaking! My favorite part was sitting in the dining and kitchen area to look at the sun setting on the lake. We took the paddle boat out and kayaks that are on the property and had amazing days on the lake. The weather was perfect during the evening to sit outside and enjoy the views of the sunset. I highly recommend this beautifully decorated cabin to anyone whether for a romantic getaway to a fun filled family vacation!
My mom and grandmother and I stayed here for a girls' weekend/retreat and to shop for some furniture. I can't say enough about how amazing this cabin is! One entire wall is floor to ceiling windows which looks out over the lake. The view is incredible and we would wake up every morning to sit and have coffee and admire the view. The rest of the cabin looks like something out of a home remodel show- just stunning! You can sit anywhere inside the cabin and look out over the lake, perfect for your morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. Since we visited in the winter we did not take advantage of the patio outside- I can't wait to return in warmer months and sit outside and use the dock and kayaks! There is a nice Queen bed in the bedroom upstairs with access to a full bathroom. There is also a bed downstairs with access to a full bathroom. For additional guests the couch pulls out into a comfortable queen size bed. Every detail of this cabin is well thought out and done very well. The town Belmont is close by and a very cute town to visit, but still a close drive to Uptown if you are looking for more city, or a 40 min drive out to some of the best furniture shopping around. No matter what you are looking to do, I think this property is for anyone!
We live in the area- needed a place to stay while renovating our home. I found this lovely cottage close
to our house- on the lake and was so pleasantly surprised that our stay ended up being a vacation. The views, the cabin, the convenient location and wonderful owners made for a wonderful time. The docks were really great-we kayaked and paddle boarded and just had a great time!....the new deck next to the kitchen made sunset watching & evening drinks easy!
we stayed at the cabin by the lake for a few nights on the thanksgiving week. When we arrived we were kindly greeted by the owners. They were super nice and accommodating. The cabin was nicely upgraded and had this amazing view of the lake through massive windows. We absolutely loved it and I recommend this cabin to all nature loving folks. The owners are constantly upgrading the property. We felt very safe as the cabin is in a very family oriented area. Loved it and thank you!!
Top notch all the way around. My wife and I spent a weekend here for our anniversary. We are from the area so this sort of served as our vacation without extensive travel. And it was perfect.
The owners are very chill yet will help you if you need anything or have any questions. The Cabin is very cool. All the amenities you will need for cooking, relaxing, and being active on the lake. There is a private dock where its pretty much up to you as to what you want to do; fish, kayak, swim, or just sit and hang out.
All in all we had a great time and will definitely keep this place in mind for the next excursion or recommendation for friends and family.
