About the property

Spacious, air-conditioned, comfortable, nicely decorated and quiet flat in the very epicenter of Fuengirola, offering three bedrooms with proper beds for a total of six people. There is a fully equipped kitchen, two completely renovated bathrooms and wifi. There is free parking, swimming pool and elevator. Towels, bedsheets and shower gel is included, as is a bottle of wine to enjoy while you get settled in. All bedsheets and towels are professionally dry cleaned prior to your arrival.

The beach is 200 meters away, and the port 500 m. The train station is only 250 meters from the flat, and the train takes you to both the airport and Malaga city center. At 100 meters you will find a taxi stand and the main bus station.

I bought this apartment to enjoy Fuengirola and the marvelous coastal climate during weekends. When I moved to Marbella, I decided to give others a chance to enjoy the flat by renting it out. The property has an enviable situation, being close to practically everything you may need in town. With its three bedrooms and spacious layout, the flat is perfect for groups and families.

What makes this apartment unique

The terrace and the bedrooms have mountain views, but there is no street below. This provides a very silent environment and a great place to retire to after a day on the bustling street or the hot, sandy beach. All bedrooms as well as the living and dining area are airconditioned.

Great location

Met by a lady on arrival to apartments, who gave us the keys and showed us around, in a friendly and efficient manner.

On first impression, the apartment was spacious with all the beds made up for arrival and plenty of towels, hand soap, dishwasher tablets etc.

However, a little more attention to detail would have been great. The bedding in two of the rooms was very poor quality and had marks from previous guests. Crumbs and wine glass stains were still evident on the dining table and no welcome pack; water etc.

However, when we mentioned this, the owner was in contact almost immediately and arranged for the cleaners to come right away.

We unpacked and went out for dinner. On return the bedding had been changed and the apartment was clean and fresh. Also welcome wine handed in.

We really appreciated the prompt response and action of the owner.

The location was perfect; close to many cafes/restaurants and supermarkets. A couple of blocks from the lovely beach, where we spent every day and being on a higher floor, the apartment was surprisingly peaceful and quiet at nights.

The bathroom and shower room were spacious and clean. Plenty hot water for showers. Washing machine and a clothes drier too, which was great and we used this a couple of times.

Altogether, this apartment was very good value for money and we would definitely return in the future, for a relaxing beach holiday.

Owner's Response: It was really nice having Roslyn and her party stay with us. There is usually always a bottle of wine in the flat for all arriving guest, but on this occasion the stock was depleted, and no-one had noticed. I have taken corrective action to make sure that won't happen again. Also, new bed sheets for all beds have been ordered and will be in place shortly.

Nice and clean flat! Very good location!

We can totally recommend this flat for your holiday! Flat was clean and peacefull but it's location was near everything! The beach, plenty of shopping opportunities, bus station and restaurant are all easily available. Also owner of the flat was very helpfull and gave us a very good customer service.

Only negative thing to us were the pool area. It was difficult to go there (expecially with kids), water was cold and sun shined there only in the late afternoon. In addition the elevators to the flat were quite small so if you are travelling with strollers there will be some challenges!

As a total, we were very pleased to stay in this flat! It was totally worth of it's cost!

In the immediate neighborhood there is a multitude of supermarkets, convenience stores, bars, cafés and restaurants. The beach is just 200 meters away and the port only 500 meters. The train station, bus station and taxi stand is only a few hundred meters from the flat. The railway will take you to Malaga with stops at the airport and the high speed train station.

Fuengirola boasts a wonderful beach promenade, castle, zoo, water park and other attractions. At night you can enjoy a show at the Variety Theatre right next to the property, or you can go see a movie at the Miramar shopping mall. The town is of a very manageable size, with most places within walking distance. Fuengirola is equidistant (30 km) to the cultural treasures of Malaga and the glamorous town Marbella, and very close to the quaint little town of Mijas Pueblo, with its donkey taxis.
