A 2 bedroom split level well equipped apartment (first & second floor) within a small apartment complex, set in the heart of the beautiful village of Le Praz, Courchevel in very close proximity to the village’s amenities & a 5-7 mins walk to the Gondolas. With underground parking. The apartment will sleep 4 – 5 comfortably and can accommodate up to 6.
Upstairs; a comfortable master bedroom with 2 single beds & large wardrobe. The second bedroom has 2 single beds (& plenty of shelves).
Downstairs is open plan living / dining area (comfortable 3 person sofa & chairs) with kitchenette newly fitted with oven and hobb fridge and dishwasher plus bathroom & separate (second) WC:
The living area has ample seating to relax - There is a new 32inch TV with both UK & French channels (a USB port) and there is also a DVD player (note; no DVD's are supplied).
The dining table will easily seat 6.The Kitchenette has all the essentials (combi oven, toaster, fridge, coffee maker, including a dishwasher etc).
The bathroom has a bath / shower, WC plus basin. With a separate WC.
There is secure underground parking in the basement below the apartment. A ski locker located in the building entrance, therefore no need to carry skis up any steps after a day’s skiing. A balcony. This apartment has been viewed by the tourist board and has a 2 Star rating.
Le Praz is a very pretty French village with people in residence all year round, so has a non-tourist feel, however is very lively apres ski due to the multitude of bars & restaurants tucked away in its little streets. The apartment block in in the centre of Le Praz with all key amenities on its doorstep – under the apartment block (joined by an undercover walkway) is a sports bar (serving good affordable burgers & steak etc),They do have bands playing twice a week, and you can hear the music laundrette, dry cleaners, patisserie, newsagents, fine restaurant, boucherie (selling a wide variety of local Savoir produce) & a ski hire shop. Within a few min walk there are numerous other bars & restaurants & small supermarket. There are various other shops including several ski hire shops.
Bed linen & towels are NOT supplied. They can be supplied on request (additional cost). Other services can also be supplied by the lady who looks after the apartment. She will be in contact prior to your arrival.
Right in the middle of the very pretty village, very warm apartment, sky TV for the kids was really good!!! Very good size bathroom. Hardly if any queues on the lifts in the morning..

Interesting adaptation of space, with fairly spacious living/kitchen area, but cramped and awkward second bedroom, in which the velux cannot be opened to ventilate the room , and taller residents will repeatedly bang their heads, as they will also on the underside of the stairway in the living area.Pillows too soft.Definitely on the small side for 4, but ok for two.Kitchen works well, all appliances, including dishwasher, work well. Induction hob difficult to master for those not familiar. Instructions for use of DVD/TV/Sky box and kitchen appliances would be appreciated. No teapot,very small cafetiere, otherwise very well equipped kitchen.No freezer, though.Parking very convenient.Keys and access good. Owner helpful and readily available, though we didn't need him once we had arrived.We (2 of us) enjoyed our stay.
Everything was perfect.apartment is comfy,clean,close to the slops.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.You fell like at home,not like in the hotel.Hope to visit it next year.
Le Praz is has easy access by road and is an exceptionally beautiful local village, with no big concrete apartment block. The apartment is a level (i.e. no steps or hills) 5 - 7 min walk through the village to the bubble lifts which takes 7 min to reach Courchevel 1850.
Le Praz is a lively yet small village with several excellent bars & restaurants, amenities on the doorstep include ski hire, a small supermarket, launderette, butchers, and bakers. Plus only a short free bus ride to the other Courchevel villages & their winter activities.
