We were 3 families (and 2 dogs) that stayed here for the thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed it thoroughly!! There was room for 10 or more and enough space for all..We explored the area behind the house and it was exciting..Super friendly host and easy communication. Would highly recommend staying here again.
This house was great for the 6 adults in our group. The hot tub was very enjoyable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels and blankets throughout the house.
Christine was wonderful, and I could reach her through text if we had any questions.
The only downside would be the lack of curtains in the bedrooms, but we taping aluminum foil to the windows in the master bedroom and that blocked out a good chunk of light.
My family stayed last week. What a great escape. Everything you need for your stay. The house is beautiful. The setting is gorgeous. We wanted for nothing, but more time... Sleeps so many people and so big you can escape for your private time. Don't forget to spend time in the hot tub. Was always the highlight of our day. House is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels for kitchen, baths and hot tub. Christine is a sweetheart and goes above and beyond making your stay the perfect one. As stated in a previous review, look no further... Its a great central location for ski resorts, Route 100 drive and many other outings.
Thanks Christine and Rob for such a great time and for making it so memorable for us.

This home has everything you need. I rarely say that. From the abundance of towels to the crisp clean sheets, Christine has made this place really great. Our family of four had so much room to spread out and relax while not feeling too alienated from each other. Our kids loved the walk (although a bit steep) down to the running creek in the back and collecting rocks and going on adventures. We picked berries off the bushes and took advantage of the deck - a perfect place for morning coffee!
We appreciated Christine's response time on questions and she made us feel comfortable in asking. Also, our dogs were welcome here, so that is definitely a major plus. They too, loved the deck. Did i mention that the beds were super comfy? A lot of times when you are at a rental property, you find that common wearing out right in the middle or on one side, where the beds have not been flipped often. Here at Christine's place, each bed was consistently firm and even. Finally, we do a lot of cooking at home and her range kicks butt. Fridge was a little small for our needs, but a typical side door fridge. Great place! Great location! Go visit the wonderful Deerfield Valley Inn just down the road for a splendid time.
The pictures do not do the house justice. When my family and I arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful, spacious and clean the place was. Christine made sure we had everything we needed: firewood, extra gas tank for the barbecue, paper towels, dishes, cookware - everything was there. She even left the Christmas tree for us (it's a Russian tradition to keep the tree up for NYE). My family had an amazing time, and the children had plenty of room to play, inside and out in the yard. Best experience renting a house in the mountains so far.
Our party of 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and a dog booked this house at the last minute because our previous rental arrangements at another property fell through. I am very glad that things worked out the way they did because this was a perfectly lovely rental and we were very comfortable. The linens were clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The babbling brook was peaceful and the porch and grill were added bonuses. Christine was prompt and professional. I would happily stay here again. The only thing I would mention for future travelers is that the bedroom windows did not have curtains -- which meant the children would wake up with the sun. We worked around this, though, by putting pillows and towels over the windows and this worked out just fine.
