About the property

- 1 BR, 1 BA, Sleeps 2.

Our newly renovated cabin is sure to please. If you are looking for seclusion, this is it! We are located on a beautiful winding country road between downtown Boone and downtown Blowing Rock. (4WD recommended in the winter months). We are close to many attractions, great restaurants and shopping, yet, away from it all. Steps to one of the best hiking trails around. ..Mountains to Sea/Boone Fork loop trail is part of the Blueridge Parks trail system and right outside our front door! Locally known as 'Hebron Falls'. Spend the day exploring these beautiful trails. Pack a picnic lunch and bring your fishing pole!

cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

Description of the cabin was accurate, but the photos don't do it justice. It is much cozier than it looks. Very clean and warm. We had the greatest meals on the deck in the trees. Nice wrap around deck and partly covered. We hiked the trails with the happy, happy dog. Owner was great and always helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking some peace and quiet, but plenty to do in the area. Must recommend the Screamin' zip line tour. The guys running it are just great and views are neat. Last line is 2,000 feet long with speeds at around 60 miles per hour. Had dinner at the Canyons. Nothing fancy, but good food, NC Speckled Trout and great views of Linville Gorge.

winter wonderland cabin

  • 4 of 5

We booked this cabin in the mountains in hopes of escaping for a working and hiking weekend. Unfortunately nature had different plans and it snowed more than 4 inches which made working (no working wifi service likely due to power lines being down) and no accessible trails. The cabin itself was wonderful and location was secluded and yet very conveniently located to get to town for meals. We would definitely return in the summer or late spring (even though we expected spring weather this last weekend!).

Great cabin in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was much more than we expected by the pictures! We would definitely stay there again. Great location and hiking was awesome. The only minor complaint was that it was difficult to heat the entire cabin in extremely cold temperatures but it still deserves 5 stars!

Clean and romantic

  • 5 of 5

The fireplace and tub are so romantic for a quick getaway. Was very clean and well maintained. Loved that Netflix was there as well as conveniences like wifi and a cabin phone when our service was low. Thank you!

Cute little cabin

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here. Location is great, private but not terribly far from town. The front of the cabin is a little chilly since it’s only heated by a gas fireplace, but the bedroom was quite warm. Clean and cozy little cabin, no complaints!
