Do not hesitate going to Tucson in the "hot months". We were there for a week in mid- June, and the desert was a sight to see with so many different species of plants in bloom. Seriously, the drive to the property on Coachline, is like driving through a carefully planned cactus garden, that could demand an admission fee.
The private pool was a welcome remedy to the sunny days and we especially enjoyed it in the morning hours when it is shaded and then again a little later in the day when the shadow of the house covered the pool and spa.
This place couldn't have been better. The house is beautiful and equipped with everything we needed, in long spices, oil even real butter in the refrigerator.
I noticed that many of the design touches in the home were made by local artisans. My favorite piece was hung above the arched hall doorway.
We decided to search that piece out and found a plethora of artisan shops... Our favorite place to explore is Zocolo Village, located off of E.River Rd.
It was evident from the very beginning Dan and Holly were going to be attentive hosts by their interaction with us during the reservation process. They were liberal with the check-in time and the photos of the home were right on.
The neighborhood is safe, quiet and just around the corner there is a walking/biking trail, where we enjoyed early morning rides on the 2 bikes provided. That’s when we saw a couple playful prairie dogs, and daring roadrunners who seem to love to cross the road out in front of you so you can get a good look. I am sure we will be back again, as for us, the BEST part was getting to visit our beloved family members who reside here.
House was great! Very clean and felt like home. We enjoyed the pool on a sunny weekend. We will definitely come back soon!
Wow. Turquoise Moon sets the bar
This is the place to stay. There was not a single thing we could have wanted that wasn’t available. The fridge had a built in coffee maker! When we arrived, there was music playing and we were welcomed by warmth, cleanliness and a beautiful place. For a family of 5 and our two small dachshunds this is our favorite vacation rental yet! We even tried to stay longer but someone was smart enough to book the house after us. Thanks Dan for providing such an amazing place!
Amazing house and wonderful host!!
The house was set up for perfect! The kids loved the pool and the parents loved the quit and so so comfortable beds!!
Vacation nbr one
Wonderful. Great view. Coming back for sure. Accommodating host.
Review of Turquoise Moon Vacation Rental #1258451
Turquoise Moon rental is as lovely as it is photographed. The location is ideal and ever so quiet and serene. It was a plus to have use of the garage! It was also most pleasing to have a grocery store close by after exploring both historical sites and national/state parks. Adding to a perfect backyard was the trail behind it's fence. It was most exceptional to discover directly behind this home’s backyard was the Puerto del Azotado, Historic Campsite #19, part of the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail. This recently paved bike and walking trail is a treasure any time of year whether for a stroll or a bike ride. The scenery is spectacular! This April the butterfly garden at the #19’s parking site was a full bloom. It adds to the richness of Mission San Xavier. To further understand Arizona’s economic and cultural heritage a tour of the ASARCO Mine will not disappoint any age. We wholeheartedly recommend this VRBO home and the opportunity it affords to explore this area of Arizona.
