About the property

Torrenueva Is 84 Square Meters Within A Plot Of 225 Square Meters.

Built just before 2000 the 'casa' has air-conditioning in the lounge & both bedrooms and in addition has ceiling fans in the lounge & master bedroom. All the air-conditioning is reversible for warmth. WiFi & a 40' Smart Internet TV is available in the lounge and has Satellite Freeview (UK.) Channels. A kitchenette is adjacent to the lounge allowing friendly contact when in use. The kitchen is equipped with :- dual gas & electric hob plus electric oven. Fridge freezer, Washing machine, Microwave, Kettle, Pans, Cutlery & crockery.

Both bedrooms have adequate wardrobe space.

If required a guest bed is available & could be sited in the lounge.

The first floor bathroom has a bath with shower & screen, a bidet, toilet & hand-basin. The second has a shower, toilet & hand-basin.

Outside there is a balcony from the master bedroom having sliding doors. A covered patio at the front & tiled garden area. A garden table & (4) chairs are available at ground level while the roof top solarium has (4) sun-beds & (2) sun-chairs.

The views from the solarium are quite remarkable & photo's fail to show them fully.

Should you want further facilities then every attempt will be made to assist.

The house faces a quiet pedestrian way & should therefore be safe for children.

I have visited this location at least twice a year for 26 years & have never tired of it. I have owned a property for that time & have purchased 'torrenueva' due to ease of travel to surrounding points of interest. More importantly , this is the 2nd healthiest place in the world to live.

Great house for a great holiday.

The house itself is a bit different as when you come off the street you are on the top level with the bedrooms, you have to go downstairs to reach the living room and kitchen. Had air con in both bedrooms and the living room which is a must for me. The house was fitted out with some nice furniture, a lot of houses you rent have cheap pine etc so this was a nice touch. Wifi was included although not fast enough to stream for your firestick etc. All in all a nice place to stay, I would recommend it, you will need some transport though as it's pretty far out from the seafront etc.

Superb accommodation

Edward and Anna,

We had an amazing long break in your villa. The villa offers excellent facilities and everything needed for a most comfortable stay.

You were kind enough to provide a cot for when our daughter visited with our granddaughter.

You offer a kindly welcome and offers of help with anything needed. As we know the area quite well we didn't require much assistance but it was good to know that it was available.

The villa is well equipped and spotlessly clean on arrival. Wifi was a bonus too.

Highly recommended. A very nice holiday rental property in an expat community . The owners Edward and Anna could not have been more helpful and kind. The expat community wasn't our style, but if it is what you are after you couldn't do better. It provided a good base for us for days out within easy reach of Cartagena, Alicante, Murchia and lovely mountain ares. It is very easy to find Gluten free food in supermarketsand the area and you couldn't do better than Restaurante La Herredura in Los montesinos

Thank you Ed and Ana for a very enjoyable stay in your villa.

We had a really great time during our four week stay and found the villa to be a real home from home - comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It was ideal for the two of us but could easily cater for a family. It was perfect for our needs and exactly as described in the listing.

We also liked the fact that the house was well located for sightseeing in the local area, whether going up the coast to Santa Pola, southwards to Cartagena and the Mar Menor, as well as going inland to Murcia and the many towns and villages close by.

Ed and Ana were the perfect hosts and the service that we received, from the moment we made our initial enquiry right through to going home at the end of the holiday, was excellent and could not be faulted.

We would not hesitate in recommending this villa to others, and are seriously thinking about returning there next year ourselves.

St. Petersburg

Это был великолепный отдых

На вилле у Эдварда мы гостили всей семьей целый месяц. Это был великолепный отдых! Отличное место - очень красиво и очень тихо. Есть уютный внутренний дворик, где с удовольствием играли дети (2-х и 11-ти лет). Для комфортной жизни в доме есть абсолютно все. В каждой комнате - кондиционеры (мы были в августе, в самую жару). Вилла находится на возвышенности, поэтому нет большой влажности, как в домах возле моря. На 3-м этаже есть солярий, оттуда открывается прекрасный вид. Мы даже иногда пили там вечером кофе, наслаждаясь закатом.

Эдвард и Анна - замечательные хозяева, очень внимательные, помощь окажут в любой ситуации.

Мы брали в аренду машину, до пляжа добирались за 5 минут, ездили в окрестностях по удивительным местам. Впечатлений у нас и детей море!

Эд, Анна, огромное Вам сппсибо! Это был, действительно, лучший наш отдых за последние годы!

Built around 2000 this detached house is within easy reach of excellent sandy beaches e.g. La Zenia, Dehesa de Campoamore, Cabo Roig & many others. The local micro climate is stated to be only the second in the World for health.

The famous Villamartin Plaza with it's fine selection of restaurants & bars is a few minutes by car or perhaps fifteen when walking. The Plaza provides al fresco dining in a warm & relaxing environment.

La Zenia Boulivard, the largest shopping mall in Alicante was opened in 2012 & offers something for everyone including seasonal entertainment. It is several minutes away by car but local buses also are available. The bus stops are a couple of hundred yards from the house & run frequently to & from the beaches etc.,

The town of Torrevieja is several miles away to the North offering many facilities including the largest outdoor market on The Costa Blanca South. There are also many local markets close by that include most days.

The historic cities of Murcia, Orihuela & Cartagena are well worth visiting, particularly the Roman Museum of Cartagena with it's amphitheatre.

For lovers of natural history the Costa Blanca South has many Salt Lakes that provide habitats for birds & animals, e.g. Pink Flamingos, Egrets, Avocets etc.,

Just several miles South are the San Pedro salt lakes which welcomes a wide variety of birds & so offers a pleasant change to sea & sun bathing. At this small town it is also possible to enjoy mud bathing which is believed to have health benefits due to an abundance of minerals.
