Asheville Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-5)

This unique, upscale loft is located on Patton Avenue, between Church Street and Lexington Avenue, in the absolute heart of downtown Asheville. Located steps away from many of the best galleries, restaurants, entertainment, and shopping in Asheville. This central location adds to the appeal of this luxurious and comforting space. The Loft at 35 Patton is owned by Asheville artist Eli Corbin, and is full of her colorful paintings. It has been the featured loft on the Asheville Museum Loft and Art tour.

The loft is located in one of Asheville’s historic buildings. Architectural elements include expansive windows with a view of Church Street, wood floors, custom forged wrought iron railing, and a beautifully designed copper surround fireplace. It features 1800+ square feet with a split level living room, spacious kitchen, open family room, and two bedrooms - each with private baths.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all dishes, utensils, and stainless steel appliances.

The guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed with Stearns and Foster pillowtop mattress, while the master suite offers a king-size pillowtop. Luxurious linens and robes are supplied for your comfort.

Beautifully appointed, this loft includes modern furnishings paired with antiques, original art, and various imported one-of-a-kind pieces. Many of the art and design items are available for purchase.

The Loft at 35 Patton is located on the second floor with 2 entrances. One is off the elevator with access to both College Street and Patton Avenue and the other is a stair access directly

off Patton Avenue.

To make your stay even more enjoyable, treat yourself to a massage at Spa Theology, just 2 doors down...and as a bonus, our guests receive a discount. Also, you will be directly across the street from Tops For Shoes - a well known shoe store that has a huge selection of footwear for the entire family.

Stay at the loft and experience the 'heartbeat' of downtown Asheville.

About Eli Corbin, owner

Originally from North Florida, I have lived in Asheville full time for many years. I purchased this loft in 2007 thinking that I would share it with others as a vacation rental and eventually move in myself.

The loft is filled with my artwork, which I have on display, as well as for sale.

Eli Corbin, owner purchased this condo in 2007

Why Eli Corbin, owner chose Asheville

Asheville is such a vibrant and diverse city. It is small enough to walk to everything, yet large enough to have many choices regarding restaurants, clubs, galleries and shopping. I researched the market for a while before buying, but really liked the look, location and the fact that the parking deck is right across the street from the building. This loft is in the most central part of downtown.

What makes this condo unique

I love staying at the loft because it is so centrally located. When you walk out the door you are within walking distance to everything downtown. I've parked in the Rankin deck on Friday and not returned until Sunday. It is a great place to have friends over for drinks and then go out dancing, or to a movie at The Fine Arts, or catch a play at ACT, etc. It is also a great place to escape for some down time.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the loft. Number 1, talk about atmosphere! Great vibe and super comfortable. We had no issues and nothing comes to mind regarding any repairs. We will certainly keep the lofts in mind next time we visit Asheville.

Exceeded All Expectations

  • 5 of 5

The condo exceeding all of our expectations. It was spotless, beautiful, roomy and had all (or more) of the amenities of home. When we were driving home, we all agreed that our favorite thing about our trip to Asheville was where we stayed. When we left, we wished that we had stayed much longer!

The location was superb and most convenient. At the same time, we couldn't believe how quiet it was. The beds were luxuriously comfortable. It's a great value for the money. We would recommend with no hesitation! It was almost better than being at home.

We ate breakfast every morning at the Green Sage restaurant, a mere 1.5 blocks away which was scrumptious. If we had stayed longer, we would have cooked at the condo though as the kitchen was better equipped than most homes and it was beautiful. Don't miss out on the French Broad Chocolate Cafe which is less than a block away.

To sum up, we won't stay anywhere else when we return to Asheville!

Fantastic 4th f July

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beautiful loft over the 4th of July Holiday. The decor and furnishings were such a treat. As a decorator, I enjoyed "living with art" which was comprised of the owner's work displayed throughout. The kitchen is on the floor above the living area and provides plenty of room to cook, eat and enjoy. Bedrooms were well appointed and spacious as well. Parking in the parking garage was close and easily accessible from the second entrance to the loft. We were able to park and walk to everything downtown which is a plus when staying in an urban area. The owner sent a list of restaurants prior to our visit with a personal review which was very helpful. Instructions and security were very clear and well thought out. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect, perfect, perfect !

  • 5 of 5

Thank goodness we booked our four night stay at 35 Patton Avenue well in advance. It is in the PERFECT location, right in the middle of every interesting thing in Asheville. We couldn't have been happier. The loft is elegant, artistic and well appointed, comfortable and quiet, immaculately clean. My siblings remarked that the website pictures don't begin to do it justice. It exceeded all our expectations. One can hear, faintly, the music from the Lobster Trap below but at no time did it disturb us. Staying at the loft were my husband and myself, my sister from England and, as it turned out, her gentleman friend from Durham, NC. Nearby, in the Haywood Hotel, were my brother and sister-in-law from San Diego. Another brother was camping at Lake Powhatan and still another brother and his wife live in Marion, NC. A sibling family reunion. While we were out and about a good bit, we did all gather and cook together on two nights and the space and kitchen proved to be most welcoming and commodious. It was dangerous that Tops shoe store was right across the street. We had fun breakfasting at Early Girl Eatery and dinners at Cucina 24 and Bull and Beggar in the River Arts district. Biltmore was exhausting but amazing. Eli Corbin and her manager, Sarah Nie, were most helpful all the way along, including the return of a forgotten raincoat. My only wish is that I had had a window to open for fresh air. But if we come back to Asheville, which I hope we will (we barely scratched the surface of things to do and see), I would be delighted to stay again at The Loft.

Great place in the heart of Asheville!!!

  • 5 of 5

Loved this loft! It was in a terrific location, and it was spacious & just BEAUTIFUL. Booked it for 5 nights originally, but loved it so much that we decided to stay an extra day (luckily it was available). Great recommendations on restaurants & sites from Eli - thank you! Large enough that our two adult kids came & stayed for a couple of nights (they thought it was pretty incredible too).

If you are looking for a place in Asheville, you won't be disappointed!
