Quiet, detached former farmhouse, located on the outskirts of a village, with large garden and terrace. The house was recently renovated and is tastefully and discreetly furnished, partly with antique furniture. It has five bedrooms with double beds, two bathrooms, sauna, living room with fireplace and large table where you can dine, kitchen with dining area and a room for playing or watching television. The house is detached and is adjacent on only one side to a lot with a single family house. The garden is spacious with 2000 square meters and is adjacent to a meadow-land, belonging to the property, where - after consultation - can graze the horses your brought with you. In the personal atmosphere of the rooms and in the charm of this former farmhouse, where modern and antique are connected in a lovely fashion, is reflected that the owner and his family have, for many years, used and maintained this retreat, in which the world outside can be forgotten so easily.
The immediate area is ideal for hiking, biking, running or riding, for example, on the former railway line that was redesigned for tourist and sports use and which is just 150 meters away. You can use it to reach the small town of Waimes with its shops and restaurants in less than half an hour walk or a few minutes by bike.
The pretty little town of Malmedy with neat shops, restaurants and numerous leisure facilities can be reached in a few minutes by car. The High Fens is only about fifteen minutes by car. Throughout the year this unique landscape offers a charming setting for hiking. In winter, when snow covers the land, the Fens can be explored on cross-country skis. There are also some ski slopes. The Belgian Ardennes are touristicly superbly developed and offer numerous attractions.

The house looks nice and the garden is superb. The device, however, overtakes and very simple. The setting is very nice for walkers and cyclists.
Delicious Easter weekend had in welcoming, complete house. Nicely renovated and fully equipped. Very nice lady who came to bring the key, and very attentive with sweet Easter basket on Sunday! Good opportunities for hiking, biking. And superfine sauna! Here we go again to return!
Wij hebben een heel aangename vakantie gehad. Het huis is gezellig, knus, super proper en van alle gemakken voorzien. Een ideale plek om te ontsnappen aan de drukte.
Redelijk goed weer, mooie omgeving, genoten met kinderen en klein kinderen, aanrander !!
Ondanks het feit dat het brandalarm midden in de nacht afging en dat niet duidelijk werd hoe dat kwam, hebben wij een fantastisch weekend gehad.
Het huisje is goed bereikbaar vanuit Nederland en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.
Je kunt er goed mountainbiken en mooie wandelingen maken!
