The Little Niangua Arm is becoming extremely popular for family vacations for the simple reason of minimal large boat traffic and quiet, safer conditions. There are 2 excellent golf courses within 15 minutes of the log home subdivision. Arguably, Missouri's most beautiful State Park, 'Ha Ha Tonka' is just a 15 minute drive also. The park has hiking trails, caves and a 48 million gallon/day spring.

This 2000 square foot log home, built in 2003, has modern conveniences with a mild rustic touch. Enjoy the Ozark sunsets while swaying in the hammocks on the lower deck or grilling your favorite meal on the gas grill on the upper deck.

About Kevin or Karen

Kevin started building the Poco Risco's Lakefront Log Home in 1998 and has built a total of 4 log home on the Little Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks since. We still own 2 of them and love renting them out as vacation rentals so that as many people as possible can enjoy them.

Kevin and I also own and run a manufactured stone company in Camdenton which is just about 30 minutes from the Log Homes. Between us we have 6 children (3 boys and 3 girls) and we have currently also have 6 grandchildren (3 boys and 3 girls).

We love the lake area and all it has to offer. It is a beautiful lake that if full of nature and entertainment. We love the vacation rental business because it gives you an opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and a great moment in their life - they are on VACATION and very HAPPY! We welcome you to come experience the quiet waters of the Little Niangua and enjoy the comforts of the log home that we set up

This property is located in such a great area. It is on quiet waters that is perfect for fishing, swimming, boating and skiing. You can actually ski right in front of the log homes! The property is far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to the conveniences and entertainment if you choose. The properties are CLEAN and very well equipped for everything you need to enjoy your vacation. If it's not there - call us and we will try our very best to find it for you!

What makes this house unique

In this area, you can watch as bald eagles soar right in front of the log homes in the early mornings and then watch them come back in the afternoon.

This is such a quiet area that swimming, fishing, boating and skiing are easy and safe to do. No worries about big boat traffic.

50% of rental fee is due 60 days prior to arrival and remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival

There is a minimum $350 reservation/security/cleaning deposit required to reserve a home. This deposit is your reservation deposit up to your arrival time, at arrival it becomes your security/cleaning deposit. When departing the home must be clean!

Cancellation at anytime is an automatic loss of 50% of any and all funds already paid. The balance of which is subject to re-rental of the home.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
