This is a spacious house, an old farmhouse (ruin) renovated in recovering the ancient stones.
The house is situated a little in the height of a hill with stunning mountain views of the Luberon, the valley and many small villages in the distance,
The house is located in scrubland edge and has a large terraced garden built with an olive terraces, and pool. This house with workshop was designed for a sculptor, Jean-Paul Laenen. It is a place full of quiet charm without being totally isolated.
The tiny village of St. Pantaleon, with bar - restaurant - bread and corner grocery store is within walking distance from the house (1 km)
The workshop of the sculptor is not accessible by rental period
The house is built on 2 levels: the first floor is the level of the country road on the ground floor at garden level
There are three ownership:
1 private patio entrance (closed) on 2 levels with access on the one hand to the artist and the other at home
1 double gateway to the garden and private parking
1 entry above garden on the small road
It can comfortably accommodate 6 to 8 people
A large number of wonderful little villages, most of which are classified as "most beautiful villages in France" are close to home, with small shops, Provencal markets, small tobacco bar with shaded terraces, the aperitifs ....
There are also some great walks to do around the house, in the scrubland, surrounded by nature with beautiful views, Gordes, hill, valley, the Luberon ..
All this makes the place so pleasant
An additional advantage is the geographic location of this place is very central and very well located for visiting the entire region, the Luberon, the Mont Ventoux, but also the Camargue and the Alpilles, Avignon and its festival, Marseille .... The landscape is very diverse, small villages too. the area is very popular with cycling tourists.
We wish to temporarily put our house for rent, because we do not have the opportunity to go there often enough for now.
