cBay Cottage was built around 1940 as a summer Chesapeake Bay get-away cottage. Folks would pack up the station wagon and head to the bay for a week or more! Children would float on inner tubes, catch lively blue crabs, rock fish, 'tooth hunt' and play on the beach while mom and dad would relax and listen to their transistor-radio. Times have changed, but the beach is still the beach. This classic two bedroom beach cottage can comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 adults and a couple children with one double bed, two twin beds and a queen foldout couch in the living room. A fully equipped kitchen, central air, paddle fans in each room, linens and towels are included - you just need to bring provisions! cBay has one full bathroom (with shower only and a great outdoor shower as well). With a gorgeous beachfront view of the Bay, a window seat and deck overlooking the beach this is the best location for listening to the waves or watching the gulls and bald eagles play on the Chesapeake Bay. cBay Cottage~Our home away from home with a view!
Looking for a vacation where you feel pampered and relaxed with the bay right at your feet? cBay cottage is all of that and more. Sue and Steve made our stay at cBay cottage so comfortable we felt like we were at home. They stocked the cottage with surprises and treats; it made our stay so special. Their cottage is located in the perfect spot to enjoy unobstructed views of the bay. When we weren't hanging out at the cottage we spent lots of our time down at the beach. Getting the kayaks out on a calm day was definitely a highlight. Looking forward to our next visit! See you soon Sue and Steve!

Watson Family: Thank you so much for your kind review. We love sharing cBay Cottage and look forward to seeing you again, soon.
An amazing cottage to relax and have fun in
My wife and I have stayed here multiple times. The cottage is great. Vintage styling but with all the modern things to keep everyone happy. Cable TV, fast WiFi, movies, books and games are all there. The views are outstanding and beach access is fantastic. We enjoy the quiet area and the beaches, that are usually empty. That gives us plenty of quiet time to enjoy the wildlife and look for shark's teeth and other fossils.
Ms. Maria & Mr. John: Thank you so much for your kind review. And John, the community certainly thanks you for the time and effort you put into helping with the beach clean-up - that certainly goes above and beyond what we call 'a great guest.'
We love sharing cBay Cottage and look forward to seeing you again in 2019.
Lovely stay at CBay Cottage
We had a wonderful stay at CBay cottage.
The cottage itself is just lovely and probably the best equipped in which we’ve ever stayed. The views of the bay are amazing. The community is small and intimate.
Sue and Steve were nearby for any questions, suggestions or other needs, and could not have been more gracious hosts. Beach access is very easy - it’s a short walk past two adjacent cottages then stairs down to the beach. The beach itself is very private, particularly in front and north of the cottage. We visited in the fall, and we had the beach almost to ourselves all week and found many fossils.
The cottage is ideally located to explore local parks, hike the Chestnut Land Trust trails and the visit the Calvert Marine Museum.
Thank you Steve & Sue for sharing your lovely property with us!
We are so happy you had a wonderful visit. We love sharing cBay cottage! Fall is an amazingly quiet time to visit as well as early spring.
