Welcome to a bit of Key West on Folly Beach. Step into our Flamingo Suite with large great room, 42'' flat screen with cable, wireless internet, gas fireplace, ceiling fans, central heat / air, and queen bed at far end of great room. Two bedrooms 1 queen, 1 twin. All have cable television and DVD players. There is a movie library, board games and books to enjoy, bath and a half, top of the line kitchen, and laundry room. The wrap around deck has, dining area for six, enclosed outside hot/cold shower, and half bath. MAX FIVE GUESTS IN FLAMINGO SUITE (1200')

The entire yard has a privacy fence, and there is parking for five cars. Relax on the deck, stroll to town (1/2 block), or to the beach and fishing pier (1 block). No rentals to individuals under 25 years of age without prior owner's permission.

SORRY WE CANNOT ACCEPT PETS OR CHILDREN UNDER SEVEN YEARS OF AGE.

Park the car and walk to everything or rent a golf cart or bike for your stay.

OWNER MAY BE ON PREMISES IN SANDPIPER SUITE.

We enjoyed the southern hospitality from you and all we met. It was a long haul but worth every minute. Escaping the 12 degree weather in Michigan was the best. Loved the Fat Hen Restaurant on John's Island. We also found the lighthouse at the end of Folly delightful with few people, good shells, and a great picnic spot. The Flamingo Suite is charming, love the decor and colors. So quiet and relaxing.

Wonderful visit!

We had a wonderful time, the accommodations were perfect as was the location. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and in the courtyard. The beds were comfortable, the lighting was good, and the kitchen had everything we could want.

Great place.

We enjoyed staying here. It is a great location. Very close to shops, restaurants and to the beach. Loved the garden courtyard and outdoor shower.

Lots of fun at Folly Beach

We had a great time at the Folly Flamingo. Wonderful location close to the beach and town. We really enjoyed the lovely garden and decks outside. Very comfy.

Charming comfortable house in the best location!!!

What a quaint ,comfortable house!! We had a great time! It was a quick walk to all the downtown Folly activity as well as the beach!! The rates were very reasonable!! Would definitely consider staying here again!!

Great Location/Unfriendly Staff

I rented the Folly Flamingo for a relaxing weekend with a few of my girlfriends to celebrate my friend getting married. There were 5 of us total and we let Janet know from the time we booked that there would be 5. I myself am 28 yrs old and the youngest is 24. From the time we arrived we were treated like we were a bunch of teenagers who were there to throw a party. Janet "hovered" over our every move the entire time making it more than difficult to relax. We also received a knock on our door and a lecture on the rules from Janet about a towel used on the beach that was her property however the towel belonged to the couple renting beside us, it was their towel and she later mentioned it wasn't even hers. I was excited for a relaxing weekend but instead spent my time walking on eggshells to please the owner.

Owner's Response: Hello Summer, When someone acts younger than their age you tend to treat them as the age they portray. 1. Your Homeaway rental form stated 2 guests. Later I was told there would be five. 2. You mailed checks with the Payee blank which is very risky. 3. I had to get you to park your car the day after arrival so you would not get a ticket. I believe every state has laws about parking with the flow of traffic in your lane so as not to hit someone head-on when you reenter the road. 4..As for the towel issue I am not sure why your friends tried to blame the couple up front. It turned out to be a bath towel left by previous renter and was very similar to house towels. "We know nothing about it" would have been the correct response when I told them household items should not be taken to the beach. As far as you being watched all the time I assume this is left over from your days as Miss Tennessee. Yes, we check social media. In time you will be able to move on from your glory days. Sorry to disappoint but "Girl Watching" is not on my things to do list any day. Janet Crouch Proud Owner

Full of character, perfect Folly location

We loved staying here. Janet was great to deal with, easy to find, and best of all we parked the car for 4 days and never drove. 1.5 blocks to main street restaurants and shops, 1.5 blocks to beach wi easy access point like it was made for us. The home was fun and had plenty of room for 4 of us (adults). Water pressure was a little light in the indoor shower, but I quickly realized the outside shower was AWESOME, privacy and great pressure right outside the door! (Great showering experience). All appliances and TV worked and was clean and ready, would definitely stay here again. Great experience.... thank you!
