The apartment is located directly near the Urban-Loritz Park , in the 7th district of Vienna--on of the most beautiful districts of Vienna. The district has existed since 1850 whereby many turn-of-the-century erected buildings can still be found and admired there. With the flowering of the Austrian silent film area, from 1918-1923, the nearby Neubaugasse and street bordering on it, were developed to form a film district.

This is why many of the old Viennese restaurants, with their traditional cuisine, cafés, and bars settled there. The apartment is located 50m from the main library of Vienna. This library, with its 800,000 visitors annually, is considered one of the most frequented attractions of Vienna. The main library is meant to represent education in Austria and is modern in its conception.

At "Spittelberg", otherwise known as the "Village in the City", you'll find the second largest pedestrian area of Vienna with much historical architecture. Here you'll be delighted to see romantic, narrow streets with garden restaurants which invite you to stay be it in the summer or the winter. The most beautiful Christmas market is located there, where hand-made crafts are sold and it is internationally well known.
