WOW - what a great place - so perfect for a weekend get away to learn all about Genoa - right in the heart of the old historic area of Genoa - you can walk (or get lost for hours - which i highly recommend!!) and some how you end up right back in your neighborhood - which has everything you could need - so centrally located and has amazing restaurants so close (yes a little noisy at night but you are in a city - adds to the excitement!) - Maria was so helpful and had tons of guide books and coupons and suggestions!! I was traveling alone and while Genoa was a bit scary at first - I felt totally safe in the apartment and surrounding area. Highly recommend a stay here!!!
Maria and Markus are absolutely fabulous hosts and made us both feel very welcome. The apartment is tastefully and artistically decorated. The area is quite noisy, that's the bad side of being centrally located I guess.
Maria brought us some fantastic foccacia as well as showed places of interest including parking on a map.
