Columbia Falls Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

This spacious 2-bedroom end-unit condominium sits on the twelfth hole of the deluxe Meadow Lake Resort. Golf till you drop, soak in the private hot tub, or simply relax on the private patio and watch the golfers go by.

The living room features an extremely comfortable long leather couch and a versatile hide-a-bed. When you have additional guests, pull over the reclining, swiveling, rolling dining room chairs. This condo features over 1200 square feet all on one spacious level. Why climb stairs on vacation??

The master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet with plenty of space for your baby's Pak-N-Play. Double sinks, a huge tub, and separate shower provide lots of room for Mom and Dad to get ready for the day. Enjoy a brand new king-sized bed with a tempurpedic-style foam mattress. Watch a flat-screen high definition TV from your comfy bed.

The unit features an oversized washer and dryer in the main floor laundry. Lounge chairs for the deck are provided, as well as a high chair for young guests. Eat on the deck during the beautiful Montana summer at a comfortable outdoor table and chairs shaded by a large market umbrella and surrounded by majestic pines.

Take a day trip to magnificent Glacier Park, the Columbia Falls Water-slide, or Marina Cay in beautiful Bigfork.

Owner/husband loves the summer, but owner/wife is a snow-lover. A 20-30 minute drive will bring you to world-famous Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana for a day of skiing and fun in the snow, followed by a relaxing evening in front of your gas fireplace or soaking in your private hot tub under the stars.

About Cathy Kelley

Doug and I were born and raised in Montana, living in Helena, Sunburst, Missoula, and the Flathead Valley. At the age of 50+, we moved to California, and are currently living and pastoring a church in south central Los Angeles. We love our work, but our Meadow Lake home lets us keep a small foothold in our home state. When we have had it with traffic, smog, and crime, a short trip to Meadow Lake sends us back refreshed.

What makes this condo unique

We love the seasons at Meadow Lake. After living in California for 12 years, we have learned to recognize that there really are seasons in southern California, but you have to look for them. Some people say that Montana has four seasons: June, July, August, and winter, but we don't think that is totally accurate! Our active children love skiing at Big Mountain during the winter, swimming at Flathead Lake during the summer, and hiking year round. Doug and I love the changing view out of our condo living room window, as we read and rest by the fire!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Very nice, clean, well stocked, and organized. We really enjoyed out stay - everyone had a great time. Used the golf cart for a round - nice touch having that available. Hot tub, deck, quiet, location, scenery - GREAT PLACE! Thanks to Doug and Cathy for their care and attention to detail.

Convenient property to Glacier Natl Park situated on a beautiful golf course.

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I just spent five wonderful days in this well designed duplex. It has a lovely view of the golf course and is conveniently located between Glacier Natl Park and Whitefish. Loved our time there and would definitely rent it again. It would be perfect for two couples. Did didn't need a thing. Judy, San Antonio, Tx

Perfect Setting

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a long weekend at this condo. The booking process was easy and Cathy made sure we were informed with welcome emails and updates. The accommodations were exactly as we expected and very comfortable for our group. A very cozy quiet condo with great views of the golf course. The condo was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the grocery store was just down the road. The location was very central to all the activities we were interested in. We would book this property again without hesitation.

Very disappointed

  • 2 of 5

Based on previous ratings we thought this would be a great place to stay. We used the condo as a base camp to get to Glacier.

The owners were nice to work with, but we were really disappointed when we arrived. The decor is extremely dated, and the living room furniture was very uncomfortable. We had a couple of days of bad weather during our stay and spent more time in the condo than we had planned to. For whatever reason, most of the TV channels were blocked. We could not watch most basic cable TV channels. Very odd. As previous guests mentioned, the kitchen does have basic spices which were nice, and laundry soap. Kitchen utensils/pots/pans very basic. Pots and pans and coffee maker are so old that they did not work well. These need to be replaced. For the price we paid i was just expecting something nicer when we walked through the door. Frankly it was depressing.

One thing to note too, the window treatments are see through. No big deal except for the bedrooms. I would get dressed in the master bedroom closet at night.

if we come back to this area we will stay in Whitefish.

Owner's Response: We were very sorry to hear that our guests were so disappointed in their stay. We do appreciate any input that will help us make their vacation stay more enjoyable for those who choose to stay with us. Our home was built 20 years ago, and I’m sure that there are more updated accommodations. We have majored on creating a “homey” environment rather than a “model” home. The pictures we have posted are an accurate representation of the way the home looks, as we don’t want anyone to be unpleasantly surprised. We have a fair amount of equipment for children – Pak-N-Play, child’s sleeping cot, high chair, booster, and various toys. We do our best to make sure that what we do have is clean and well maintained. We charge considerably less than comparable resort accommodations, but we definitely want our guests to feel that they received value for their money. We will review our supply of pots, pans, and the coffee pot (which was purchased a year ago). We do a fair amount of cooking ourselves when we stay in the home and like to think we provide some things that are not usually found in a vacation rental, such as a crock pot, electric tea kettle and far more dishes, glasses and silverware than are needed for the condo sleeping capacity of 6. We have pleated shades on all the windows, which do allow for a lot of light. Our living room features a leather electric recliner and two electric recliners on the living room sofa which we find to be extremely comfortable, but I’m sure that others may have another style they prefer. We use DISH network as our television provider and have the basic 120 channel package which includes all the major networks. I will update my listing to specify that information so that renters definitely know what to expect. We do appreciate our guest taking the time to give us some feedback.

Great Time

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Doug and Cathy's condo the last week of August and first week of September (2015). Place was great! Without a doubt the "best equipped" condo we have ever stayed in. The garage was a pleasant surprise and really convenient. The availability of the computer and internet made it so easy to confirm the reservations home and print the boarding passes. The condo really felt like home....nice recliners. It's apparent that Doug and Cathy take pride in their "home away from home". And last but not least...the HOT TUB was great. After daily hikes through Glacier, the old body really appreciated it. This condo is a great base from which to explore Glacier and the Flat Head Lake area. Pleasant surprise was the town of Whitefish and the quaint shops "downtown". Thanks again for the hospitality, you've got a wonderful place.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four stayed here in early August to provide a home base for our vacation to Glacier National Park. The location was perfect for us. It only takes about 30 minutes to get to the West Entrance of GNP from the condo. It is about 1 mile from a grocery store. The condo is nicely appointed and the beds are fantastic! We enjoyed the hot tub, but we didn't have time to use the golf cart and clubs provided. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, which we really appreciated. We have rented many condos in other places and find that we often have to start from scratch and bring everything (sugar, salt and pepper, and other spices, laundry detergent, zip lock bags, etc.) However, the owners have generously provided all of these things so we just had to buy food. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Glacier.
