About this property

Our house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is very close to Texas Woman's University, and only a short drive from downtown, Loop 288, and the University of North Texas.

We have another place nearby, and rent our entire house when we are away. That is most week days and most of the summer.

Though we list our place as having 4 bedrooms, and officially that is all we have, we do have what we use as an office right by the front entrance, which is tucked away from the living room and the downstairs bedroom. With a divider, this can essentially serve as a 5th bedroom (without a closet space). It contains a queen size futon with a thick futon mattress.

We do not offer luxury accommodations. Ours is a modest middle class home that is cozy, comfortable, and clean.

Our backyard looks out to a serene city park, which makes our place ideal for travelers with kids, those who love jogging, playing basketball and tennis. We do not allow parties in our home because this is a quiet residential neighborhood and because we have lovely neighbors who like the quiet we have here.

We do not have a TV in our home. Our kids keep us busy and entertained enough! We do have wireless internet!

Wonderful home and host in the heart of Denton

We needed a place to hold a mini family reunion and this home worked perfect. The home was lovely and had everything my family needed for an enjoyable stay. We did a lot of exploring around the Denton square and we were conveniently located for quick trips out. We even rode bikes to the square a couple times. Özlem was an excellent host as well and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We’ll absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Denton.

Comfortable, large home close to the university

Ozlem's home was wonderful for our group of dancers coming up for a conference at TWU. The beds were all comfortable and kitchen was very well-equipped. Communication with owner was quick and super helpful. Will definitely stay again!

Great house!

The house was great, clean, in quiet area, and great soccer field in the backyard. The host was very nice and willing to let us come back to the house after check-out time before driving back to Houston.

We are easy going people who work full-time, and parent full-time. Like most, people, we do not know how we do it, but we do, somehow!

Why they chose this property

Our family home is, well... our home. We live here most of the time, but we have another place in the country we escape to when we can.

What makes this property unique

The park right behind us is a lovely park that is perfect if you are traveling with kids. The Natatorium is also very close to us; it is another major attraction if you have kids in your party. There are also great restaurants, gyms and public libraries near us that are perfect adults as well as kids. Our home is ideal if you are interested in a quiet and comfortable stay with your family free from the distraction of TV. We also host many folks who attend weddings in Denton, Aubrey and other cities near Denton, and who just want to sleep in a no-frills, clean and comfortable home.
