About this property

The Mas de Saint-Roman is located in the heart of the Petite Camargue, on the protected and classified site of the Pointe de l'Espiguette, between pine forests, vineyards, salt flats, and a dead arm of the Rhône. Near the agglomeration of Grau-du-Roi, it is a place that is both conducive to rest, allowing you to appreciate the Camargue fauna and flora, but also an ideal starting point for visiting the cities of Nîmes, from Montpellier, Aigues-Mortes and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, or for swimming in the Mediterranean and for walks in the region.

You will be charmed by this fully equipped house located in an old farmhouse, part of which has been converted into several apartments. Two of these units are permanently occupied by the owners. The rest of the accommodation is occasionally occupied by the children of the owners and their families living abroad. The transformation of the farmhouse is the result of a contemporary architecture project respecting the typicality of local traditional architecture. The joint ownership has been designed so that each accommodation retains its privacy and that there is no obstructing view between the apartments. These are spacious, bright and well ventilated.

This accommodation is an apartment with an interior surface of approximately 115 m2, and arranged in duplex. He understands:
- on the ground floor: entrance, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with fireplace, bathroom with WC, shower and washing machine. The living room is equipped with a TV and DVD player. WiFi internet connection via satellite;
- upstairs: two large bedrooms, a bathroom with bath, and WC.
-Outside: Courtyard on the entrance side. Garden side, terrace with garden table under a pergola, and sun loungers. The garden is to be shared with the other apartments.

Barbecue, table tennis, table football, darts, pétanque, kayak and croquet are available in the garden or in the shed.

The farmhouse is close to Montpellier international airport (25 ') and Nîmes airport, TGV train stations of Montpellier (30') and Nîmes (45 '). It is accessible by a private road crossing vineyards, ponds and pine forests is common to several farmhouses, and closed by an automatic gate.

A wide range of activities is accessible from the farmhouse: swimming (at Espiguette beach or at the various beaches of Grau-du-roi or Port-Camargue as well as at the municipal swimming pool of Grau-du-Roi or at the Grande Motte water park), horse riding in the Camargue, surfing and kite-surfing, kayaking, casino, visit to the saltworks of the south, tennis, golf, mini-golf, fishing, spa, beauty treatments, sailing, tastings wine (costières de Nîmes and Pic Saint-Loup nearby), visits to the Languedoc-Roussillon region.

The capacity is four people. Families are welcome. Baby equipment (changing table and baby bath, high chair, playpen, baby bed and baby potty) can be made available on request.

For people wishing to come in a group, another apartment located next to it with 3 bedrooms is also for rent (see rental no 1299151 on the Abritel site). The owner of this apartment is from the same family, do not hesitate to ask for more information).

Pets are not allowed, so as to avoid any conflict with the farmhouse animals (dogs, chickens, peacock) and the surrounding fields (Camargue bulls and horses, donkeys, depending on the season).
Household linen (sheets and cushion covers, bath towels - except beach and kitchen towels) is provided. End-of-rental cleaning is not included in the rental price.

Rentals are in principle from Saturday to Saturday (change possible depending on availability). It is also possible to rent for extended weekends (minimum 4 nights) outside of the high season.

Un cadre très paisible et un logement très confortable
Nous avons passé une semaine dans le logement d’Emilie fin juillet 2023 Nous sommes ravis de ce séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Le cadre est vraiment dépaysant et très apaisant. La maison est très agréable et accueillante et parfaitement conforme a l’annonce : tout fonctionne et tout était propre et bien préparé. Elle est très confortable pour une famille de 4 personnes ! Mention spéciale à la terrasse dont nous avons amplement profitée Nous avions besoin d’une vraie coupure et nous l’avons parfaitement trouvé dans cet endroit calme en pleine nature. Nous avons eu le droit aux chevaux et taureaux dans les terrains avoisinants, et même quelques lièvres :-) Le Grau du Roi est à quelques kilomètres ainsi que la plage de l’Espiguette que nous recommandons vivement Bref, nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation

Bel appartement, idéal pour une famille de 4 dans un très beau Mas situé en pleine nature et à la fois près du Grau du Roi. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le domaine, la beauté du paysage (bras mort du Rhône avec ses flamants roses - taureaux - pinèdes - vigne) , le calme environnant ainsi que le très chaleureux accueil des propriétaires. L'appartement est confortable et très bien équipé. Nos enfants de 11 et 13 ans ont apprécié les BD et la mise à disposition de la table de ping-pong et du baby foot. Une très belle découverte pour un rapide dépaysement!

Magnifique mas !
Le lieu est magnifique entre pinèdes, vignes des sables et flamants roses tous proches et le logement très fonctionnel et bien aménagé. Nous avons pu profiter d’une magnifique terrasse et les livres et jeux laissés à disposition ont ravi nos enfants (le trampoline a eu beaucoup de succès !). Un accueil également très chaleureux et de bons conseils pour visiter au mieux les environs. Nous recommandons !!
