Ski-in, Ski out, two bedroom, two bath condo located in Snowbrook Village, one of Sugarloaf's most desirable condominiums. Stunning views of Sugarloaf Mountain located at the bottom of the Snubber Chairlift (ski in /ski out). The 2nd floor master bedroom has a queen bed and full bath room, the first floor bedroom has two singles and a full size bed with full private bathroom. Fantastic location for family with kids, includes the use of Snowbrook's private pool, 3 hot tubs, sauna and recreation room. Adjacent to cross country ski trails, skating ponds and near the Anti-gravity Center where the adventurous can climb rock walls, skate at the indoor boarding park or use the trampolines. The free mountain shuttle to the Base area runs from the bottom of the stairs. No need for a car once you arrive. Well behaved pets are negotiable.

Second Floor Condo: The condo unit is on the second floor facing the mountain. There are 20 ft ceilings in the living room that allow huge amounts of sunshine to pour in. The views of the mountain are fantastic! Being a second floor unit you do not get the early morning boot pounding on your ceiling. There is a ski locker on the first floor to make it easier to store your gear without having to drag it inside.

Mountain Shuttle: The mountain shuttle stops right in front of the building which makes getting to the mountain base lodge extremely easy. Park your car for your stay and forget about it! The shuttle runs every half hour in the winter till midnight or on the less busy weeks you can call for an immediate pick up. Weekend and holiday shuttle time runs every 20 minutes.

Dog Friendly: Given that we have two dogs, we will consider your pet as long it is well behaved. We do ask for an extra damage waiver and for the pet owner to observe all of the condo association/mountain rules about having a pet on the mountain. As any good dog owner does, we expect you to clean up after your pets.

About Chip Harris

My wife and I live in Cumberland Maine and use this condo as a great winter get away most weekends. I have taught skiing here on the mountain since the late 80's and just love having a second home at Sugarloaf! We rent the condo out on a limited basis when we are not there.

Why Chip Harris chose Sugarloaf

We choose this condo due to its great location but more importantly this place gets fantastic afternoon sunshine. After a long day of skiing it is great to come back and curl up on the couch, have a drink and soak up the sun. It is also second floor unit so that you do not hear the banging of ski booots on the floor evey morning.

What makes this condo unique

Snowbrook is a great condo community, well maintained and perfect for families. The shuttle bus stops right out the door and runs well into the night so that you can park your car for your stay and not have to worry about driving.

The condo is ski in/ski out but the best way to get to the mountain is to take the shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes from in front of the building. It is much faster than the triple chair to the mountain. Ski back for lunch!

Awesome ski-in/ski-out condo!

This condo is a fantastic (& clean!) 2 bedroom condo, comfortably sleeps 7 people. It is in a great location, either ski-in and ski-out or the shuttle runs very frequently to bring you to the base of the mountain. Condo includes a public pool/hot tub area as well! I would definitely stay here again. Chip was very friendly and responsive.

Perfect for ski get-away

The condo was just as described on the website. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The size was perfect for my husband, two kids, myself, and our dog. We were able to hike the short distance to and from the Snubber chairlift with no problem. The kids loved the pool house. Wouldn't change a thing (other than maybe more snow!!).

clean, bright and fully equipped

We were pleasantly surprised to find a tidy and fully equipped condo waiting for us. We like to cook and were happy to find stainless steel pots and pans, a water filter on the kitchen faucet and all the gadgets we could have hoped for including peelers, strainers and serving spoons. The condo was also fully stocked with all the essentials so we didn't have to head back to town (pretty far away) to stock up mid-trip. Plenty of extra pillows in the closet too. Also the area was quiet. Although we must have had neighbors, we never heard them. In addition to being a short walk and a ski away from the Snubber chair lift, the cross country trails (amazing system!) were just a walk away from the condo. We thought the location couldn't have been better!

Best condo rental we've have had at Sugarloaf.

This was my first time renting from HomeAway. I had no problems.

I have rented at Sugarloaf about 10X before including several in Snowbrook but always through Sugarloaf. This condo was a step up & it was so well equipped! The free Wifi was a real plus.

I will recommend it to my friends & plan on returning.

Comfortable, well stocked condo

This condo is truly as advertised. It was very comfortable for our family of four and our dog. We ate most of our meals at the condo and the kitchen was very well stocked - one of the best rentals we have stayed in. There wasn't anything that we thought was missing. It was just a short walk across the parking lot to the Snubber chairlift. Definitely easy on/off access to the mountain. The whole area is very dog friendly - even a trail for pets through the woods. Chip, the owner, was so easy to work with - very accommodating and quick to respond. The area of Sugarloaf is very quiet which was perfect for us. We were looking to ski and spend time together as a family and we found it here.

Home away from Home

We stayed at Chip's home and what a wonderful place!. We found a home that was exactly as advertised. We were impressed with how clean and well maintained the home and furnishings were. We completely enjoyed the great views of the mountain proximity to the lifts. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a first rate home consider this one. The business dealing with Chip was as easy as easy could be - exceptional customer service.

Can't wait to stay there again!!

Sugarloaf USA has arguably some of the best skiing in the East. With over 2800' vertical feet of skiing the mountain has something for everyone - from the only above treeline skiing in the East to the family friendly 3 1/2 mile Tote road. The Sugarloaf Outdoor center offers over 100km of groomed trails, home to the state's largest Nordic trail network. In 2010, approximately 270 acres of new, gladed terrain will be built in the area known as Brackett Basin, between Sugarloaf and Burnt Mountain. The area will include tight, eastern tree skiing and wide-open western-style glades. Phase 1 of the Burnt Mountain expansion creates nearly 2,300 vertical feet of sidecountry terrain, and will make Sugarloaf the largest resort in New England in terms of in-bounds, developed acreage. Access to Brackett Basin will be via a crosscut from the top of the King Pine lift. Construction has already begun on this new terrain, and Phase 1 and part of Phase 2 is now open for the ski season. After every snow storm this is the best place to ski on the mountain - you can find some of the best untracked terrain East of the Mississippi!
