Named after a magyar family, the mansion was built in 1428. The down floor was first used by a assyrian family, then bought by the Magyar Haci Mehmet who came to Mardin from Halep in 1768, the building was accomplished with the traditional architecture by him. Between 1997–2007, the building was restored and turned into a boutique hotel. You may admire Mesopotamia as calm as a sea, enjoy the myticism and authetism of the Mardin Castle.
