She/us was first introduced to Priest Lake in 1980 after moving from Aberdeen, Washington. He/us has been playing at Priest Lake since he was a kid when his grandparents/parents had a cabin.
Kellee purchased this cabin in 2005
His parents sold their lake home and we just couldn't get used to the idea that we wouldn't have a place at the lake anymore. Waterfront prices being what they are, lakefront was not an option so we found a place three blocks from the water.
Priest Lake is one of our favorite places and we enjoy being able to share our cabin with others who want to experience the beauty that is Priest. Summer or winter, this place is special.
Lovely, modern home with all the amenities; hot water, great heating, neat and clean. Visitors should be aware that the lake is not visible from this home.
We stayed for the week of Thanksgiving. The house is small but nice. The kitchen was fully stalked and had everything we needed. If you are going to be doing a lot of cooking bring your own knives. The ones at house are very dull. Plenty of movies, however none for kids. Lots of puzzles and games to keep busy while it was snowing outside. A nice playground is with in walking distance. Everybody commented on how comfortable the beds were. Not a lot of room to set up a playpen for a baby to sleep. We ended up putting it in the master bathroom, so keep that in mind if you are bringing any little ones. We loved the fireplace, kept the house plenty warm.
The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Located in downtown Coolin, it was an easy walk to the lake and to local stores and restaurants. There is not much going on in October but we found a couple of nice hikes and quiet family time was our objective so it was perfect.
Perfect place to stay! Close to lake and town clean neat ! 2 full baths all appliances 3 bedrooms!
We stayed during a heat wave and the house did not have AC, but we had a few fans and made it through. The back deck was nice and the house was quite comfortable. It was very clean, and there were a lot of movies to choose from, though not a lot for kids but rented some at a store close by. The cabin is within walking distance to the store as well as a local pub that served pretty good food. It is not within walking distance to a sandy beach that the kids could play on, but there were plenty within a short drive. Overall we were pretty happy with our stay.
It was nice and comfortable, good selection of movies, comfortable beds and the kitchen had a good selection of cooking tools.
That being said there was laundry in the dryer, dishes in the dishwasher and dog hair all over the futon and rug which sucked for someone with a severe allergy to pets.
community park three blocks from cabin includes swings, slide, merry-go-round, play area, and basketball court. Public beach, half sand half grass, three blocks from cabin. Shallow water quite a ways out.
