About Amanda Perin
I am very fortunate to have a job that allows me to travel. During the many stays I had in the Hawaiian Islands I felt very connected to the Big Island and I started to consider a place where I would someday like to reside permanently. I do a lot of driving in the Los Angeles, Ca area so I was delighted to see that driving here would be a lot simpler.
Amanda Perin purchased this Condo in 2004
Why Amanda Perin chose Waikoloa Village
My stays in the Big Island were downtown Kona and I enjoyed the tourist attractions, shopping and choice of restaurants, however, once that I got more involved about looking for the property and drove around the Island I was amazed at the people, the change of scenery, climate and the beautiful beaches. Driving back to Kona from Hawi I decided to look at few places in Waikoloa Village. The town is small, quiet, and with a shopping area that has a large full service supermarket surrounded by specialty shops.

Comfortable and convenient
On the 9th hole of the Waikoloa Village golf course. Beautiful sunsets, close to pool and BBQ. Had a great time.
This was our second stay at Amanda’s condo and once again we were pleased with the condition of the condo. It is very clean and well equipped.
Amanda was always so accommodating and easy to deal with.
We would love to return!
Spacious condo with lots of amenities
I would highly recommend this vacation rental as it was very clean, the rooms were very spacious and it came with a lot of beach necessities such as beach towels, snorkeling gear, water shoes, coolers, etc. The condo was also well-equipped with a well stocked kitchen, washer and dishwasher detergent, dryer sheets, sunscreen, games, movies, etc.
The location is great within walking distance to a KTA food store, gas, station and some restaurants.
We were gone most days touring the island and the location was great for touring the north end of the island and with easy access to the east and west coasts. Amanda was available for any questions and was very accommodating, allowing us to stay late on our checkout day..
We would gladly stay here again when in Hawaii.
Great space and gorgeous view!
This property has tons of space and was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy delicious meals on our lanai or a relaxing picnic at the beach. Amanda was available and accommodating. I asked for an earlier check in as I had to make an afternoon airport run and since the condo was ready allowed me to check in by 1p. I was able to get everything settled and a Xmas tree setup for my son's first Hawaiian Christmas! Everything was great and would definitely stay here again! Mahalo Amanda for sharing your beautiful condo!
We love it! Was exactly what we needed for this trip!
Quiet, really clean and really well supplied! Wish all rentals were this nice.
Great location, quiet and well-equipped
I would highly recommend this vacation rental. It was clean, very well-equipped (from the kitchen to beach toys), quiet , scenic (we enjoyed watching the sunset from the lanai and the wild turkeys that came to visit everyday), close to lots of good beaches and scenic towns and drives, excellent local services (huge KTA food store, gas, good Italian restaurant), spacious (the two bedrooms are both big) and the pool was just steps away.
The lack of AC was no problem (always a lovely breeze), our only problem was that we never did find the parking pass but on the other hand, they did not tow our car away either!
Having toured almost all of the Island, I would recommend this area and this unit as a great base to explore the beautiful Big Island.
Whale watching and sunset cruises, national parks, Mauna Kea Observatory, helicopter, coffee farms and active volcano tours will add to your enjoyment. Some of the worlds best beaches for swimming and snorkeling are found on the Kohola/Kona coast.
