Blind Pass Condominium complex is a tropical and inviting resort tucked away at the north end of Sanibel. It is located on the tranquil part of the island, near Captiva and the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. Its impressive grounds are punctuated by lush gardens, meandering paths and gentle Gulf breezes. The charming, low-rise buildings truly complement this very natural seaside sanctuary. A short path over a private footbridge and the bayou brings you to Bowman's Beach, three and a half miles of pristine white sand and sea oats, famous for shelling, dolphin watching, swimming and spectacular sunsets.

The resort offers a large heated pool, saunas, championship tennis courts, clubhouse, outdoor showers, BBQ grills and protective parking. Canoes and kayaks are also available free of charge to guests.

''Home Sweet Home'' in our condo: Our spacious ground floor unit was completely remodeled in 2005 and the carpet and sofas were replaced in 2010. Its coveted interior location features a large screened lanai offering beautiful views of the pool and gardens. The brand new kitchen with its generous ten foot peninsula, complete with new appliances, serves as the perfect gathering point for quick meals, projects and general celebration. The open and over-sized living and formal dining area offers continuity for socializing and electronic media entertainment. The two bedrooms and their baths at each end of the unit balance the floor plan. The condo has a light and airy Florida style décor. It is especially appreciated by families with young children as clean, functional and uncluttered. Ceiling fans throughout, a full size washer and dryer plus fluffy white towels and sheets from our linen service add to your total comfort. Wireless access!

Activities:: Stroll Bowman's Beach. Find that perfect shell. Swim in the Gulf or laze by the pool. Paddle the bayou. Visit Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge or the Shell Museum. Play tennis on one of Blind Pass' two championship courts. Take a boat to an uninhabited island. Master bedroom w/attached full bath has two queen beds. Guest bedroom has twin beds in close proximity to second bath with shower. Pullout queen sleeper in living room. Unit has an over-sized screened in lanai. Tile floors in kitchen and living area. Carpet in bedrooms. Newly remodeled kitchen winter 2005. Unit views pool and interior complex gardens. Two lighted championship tennis courts plus outdoor barbecue grills complement the complex. Both baths fully remodeled within last two years.

We spent 2 weeks at this condo in July 2014. It was truly one of the best vacations we've ever had. The condo was spacious, and offered plenty of room for our family of six to spread out. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and updated. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything that I needed to cook almost all of our meals in the condo. The location of this Blind Pass condos was perfect because the pool was right outside our door and the beach a short walk away. Additionally, it is situated very close to Captiva Island and Ding Darling Wildlife refuge; both an easy biking distance. The resort itself offered free kayaks for guests and a great bridge over to the beach where manatees were swimming every day. This area has terrific fishing and shelling - every child in my family found something fun to do - from age 5 to 15! The owner is very responsive, kind and easy to work with, and the condo association has an on site manager to help with any question or issues. Overall, this was a five star vacation for my family and we are looking forward to returning as soon as possible.
