I stayed twice this summer on this property. The first time I stayed in the third floor independent apartment and I loved it. It was quiet, it had its own entrance and parking, full kitchen large bathroom, 2-3 bedrooms. We loved it. The second time we stayed with friends in the main house (first and second floor) and it was also extremely comfortable. It has spacious living areas where we could lounge, great facilities for cooking (full kitchen and a very new/professional looking grill), and we dined out on the porch every evening (there is also a large dining room inside, but the weather was perfect). Everything was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped (it's better equipped than my house). The place where the house is located is residential, so it's quiet and you can even hear the ocean at night. Having said that it's a long walk / short uber to restaurants and bars.
On top of everything it's only one block from the beach, and this section is not crowded at all. It's also a very nice 5 minute walk to the beginning of the boardwalk, which is always a fun thing to do while you're there.
Will I go back? For sure! Everything is set up to relax relax relax.
We had a very pleasant stay at this house. Plenty of sleeping rooms. Easy access to the private beach. Very nice owner and property manager as well. Excellent off street parking. We will be back next year! Thank you.
What a house, we had everything we needed, everything .. The beach was just s very short walk, to the sand, then a about the same distance to the waters edge, nice private beach .. Loved the big table on the porch, and ate there often, beds were comfy, and plenty of bathrooms, hot water always for showers .. Sitting on the 2nd floor deck was so nice .. We had wonderful weather .. Neighbors on 3rd floor are very nice and willing told us where the locals eat, so we avoided the touristy places to eat .. Great fresh sea food, we grilled on the grill lobsters .. Ordered and picked up pizza from the Coal House and ate on the porch - good good pizza .. Our family had an amazing time coming to Grandma's home town, to share her love of Point Pleasant Beach, the ocean, boardwalk, Jersey Mikes Subs, sea food, sand, boardwalk, kids saw a horseshoe crab, took lots of pictures .. There is a narrow stair case, upstairs, gave my old old knees a work out but it was so worth every step up & down .. Air conditioner was a blessing as it was humid, when it was cooler we just had windows opened .. Coffee pot took forever to make coffee, and it was so strong, we bought ourselves a new coffee pot .. That took care of the coffee drinkers just fine .. We would love to come back .. Great place with plenty of room and so close to that amazing ocean .. That has our foot prints all over .. Thank you for opening your home and sharing all you shared with us .. Wish we could have stayed longer ..
Other Activities: Fireworks every Thursday on Jenkinson's; can be seen from our house!
