Come experience this unique spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fourth floor lofted condo in building #8. Our condo offers complete air conditioning ! Our split air-conditioning system, installed in 2007, allows you to feel comfortable year round. This dramatic and unique, two level floor plan has many updates and upgrades to offer. In June 2008 we installed a new bathroom vanitey and vessel sink off the Master Bedroom along with new carpet in the Master Bedroom. In November of 2009 we remodeled our Master Bathroom with a new step into shower and tile on the walls and floor. In December of 2010 we received a new King Size Bed in our Master Bedroom. Our second bedroom which has two twin beds, also had new carpet installed in June of 2008. All interior doors have been replaced with 6 panel doors. The remodeled kitchen has carved bamboo design cabinets. The condo has 30' Vaulted Ceilings in the living room, upstairs loft area and main floor bedroom areas. The Kamaole Sands Resort property is conveniently located in sunny, South Kihei, just a few minutes away from the beautiful upscale area of Wailea. Our condo is close to the Shops of Wailea, great restaurants and world class golfing in Wailea and Makena.

Our building is conveniently located to the resort swimming pools and hot tubs and to Kamaole Beach II and III. These beaches are very family friendly, complete with staffed lifeguards and are well known for snorkeling, body surfing and beautiful sunsets.

Aloha from the Purcell Family. Our family invites you to come and enjoy our 'little piece of paradise' We have 4 daughters and have enjoyed holiday and family vacations at our condos in Maui. For a family with 2,3 or 4 children, or for two couples who want to share expenses our condo works great. You can save the expense of needing 2 hotel rooms, which will only allow 4 guests in one room. If you enjoy the beach as our daughters do, Kamaole Beach I, II and III are just across from our resort property !

We were fortunate to discover this condo on a VRBO search. At first contact Rich was so helpful with securing the condo that our last minute vacation plan was stress-free. The condo was perfect! The upstairs and downstairs bedrooms w/bathrooms were a treat to just have our own spaces. The condo was very clean, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed....beach toys, boogie boards, sand boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, ice coolers, beach towels, and snorkel gear. The kitchen too had all the utensils and appliances needed for us to prepare meals each day. The washer and dryer was a bonus at the end of our stay. The Purcell's have a binder in the condo with directions for check-in/check-out, and recommendations for places to eat or activities to explore. The Kamaole Sands complex is directly across from Kamaole Beach III making evening walks across the street to watch the sunset relaxing after dinner. The pool was a nice break from the beach one late afternoon when some winds at the beach picked up. I would highly recommend this condo and look forward to staying here again during our next trip to Maui.

The condo was very clean and had lots of room for our family. This condo is definitely one of the better condos we have rented at Kamaole Sands Resorts!

Great family vacation condo

Everything worked well, the property is right by the beach, safe, has plenty and easy parking, clean.

The only point of criticism is that some elements of the condo aren't well maintained (front door, plantation blinds, lights in the hall, the light in the fridge...) and the kitchen could be better equipped.

We'll be back!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. We will check into these items. I am curious as to what may be an issue with the Plantation Shutters in the living room? We were recently at our condo the end of October and I personally cleaned and washed those blinds and windows. The lights in the hallway are also of some curiosity but we will check them out. Our condo will be completely remodeled with a completely new kitchen including cabinets, granite countertops, with a walk through floor plan, new appliances, new floor tile, painting and furniture starting in April 2018. We are not absentee owners, we personally visit, update, refresh and go through our condo at least 2 times a year.

Exactly as Advertised - 5 stars

I stayed at this unit with my family (spouse and two kids) for two weeks in November 2017. It was exactly as advertised. It's nothing fancy but it's very comfortable and had everything we needed for the four of us. This unit does sleep six if you use the sofa bed but it would be tight with six people. I liked how it was an end unit so there was no foot traffic constantly walking by the unit making it very private. Being on the top floor was also really great because it helped with the wind flow through the unit in the afternoon. The wind made the A/C not necessary most of the time. One day the wind was so strong in the unit I had to take pictures off the wall so they didn't blow away! I didn't see any ants of bugs for our entire two week stay but we were careful to clean up after every meal. A few unexpected perks was that the unit had boogie boards, large and small, for the whole family and tons of snorkel gear. This saved us at least $100. This unit is about as far from the beach as you can get in Kamaole Sands but it was still less than a five minute walk through the parking lot to Kamaole Beach III which is directly across the street. We had one very minor issue and Rich addressed it immediately!! Rich was very good to deal with and communicated with us throughout the entire process. I have nothing bad to say about our stay in this condo. If returning to Kamaole Sands in the future I would stay hear again for sure. Thanks Rich!

Great location & vacation!

We had a great time during our stay at the condo on Maui. The location was perfect - walking distance to several beaches & restaurants and a quick hop to the main highways to get to activities located in other areas of the island. The condo itself was very comfortable for our family of 4 and had everything we needed for our days at the beach (chairs, umbrella, masks & snorkels, boogie boards).

Likely a great property in the 90's just starting to show some wear and tear.

Very good location with access to amenities and other sights on the island. The walk across S. Kihei Road to the beaches at this location is easy because the traffic dissipates as you go south. On arrival the unit was still in need of some cleaning. The pool and barbecue areas are well used and well maintained; a great place to meet other visitors; mostly Canadians. Cockroaches were abundant but there was an ample supply of traps and spray to help with keeping them down. An average mid range property.

Owner's Response: We work closely with our maintenance company. The condo is professionally cleaned prior to each guests arrival. We have a professional company who comes into our condo monthly for pest control and we have not had issues from recent past guests. For those who have not experience a vacation in a tropical climate, you must dispose of your foodstuffs and wastes properly and routinely. If you do not clean up after meals and dispose of your trash on a daily basis, those native creatures somehow think there is a "picnic" just prepared for them.
