Nestled among the hill country diamond clustered sky, and wildlife on North Creek, you'll enjoy the 'country comfort' of this refreshingly isolated yet accessibly, Texas-size guesthouse.
Although built in the early 1900's by the Doerfler family, this Texas-size guesthouse has been revamped to compliment the old and welcome the new. You'll be the only guest at Country Comfort B & B where you can enjoy the simple life at your convience: hike 170 acres of the Texas hill country, birdwatching made easy from the front porch, enjoy stargazing without the interference of city lights, axis and whitetail deer can be viewed at various feeders year round. So make sure you pack the camera, binoculars, or that good book you've been wanting to read and get ready to enjoy the simple life.
Just like last time our stay was most enjoyable. The little Martin family nest under the porch was so nice to watch. Everything was great. My husband really liked the Orange Peach Mango juice. Again, Thank you for everything.

My stay at Country Comfort B&B was amazing. The land was beautiful and so peaceful. Coming from city life I have never experienced such tranquility.
The house was very clean which was important to me. The kitchen was stocked with moe than plenty of goodies which was a pleasant surprise.
Janel and Chris were wonderful to work to work with and made things easy. Thank you Janel and Chris. The stay was most pleasurable.
My husband and two children (16 and 2) stayed here for one night and wished we would have stayed longer! The property is set back from the freeway and very peaceful. We walked in to the house and we were more than pleased! It is so clean, cozy, and spacious. The owners even provided a continental breakfast with snacks, fruit, and a variety of other things. We loved the porch and the view of the land especially in the mornings and the evenings. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Would highly recommend and hope to come back!
My wife, 4yo son and I stayed in this small cottage for only a couple of days, but we wished we had for a week! We walked throughout the accessible ranch land and fully enjoyed the peace and serenity of this property. Deer, cows, jackrabbit and lots of birds all around -- how beautiful! Country Comfort this is!
This little house was everything I had hoped for and a little more. We expected a comfy place to hang out in peace and quiet. We did not expect a free fireworks show for the 4th of July, courtesy of the nearby town. Nor did we expect a rather friendly jackrabbit that liked to pose for us. We didn't expect a nest of purple martins right next to the door, so we got to hear baby birds chirping in the mornings. We didn't expect that we would love sitting in the creek at the property's edge and letting the water rush by our feet. Nor did we expect to feel so completely private, even though the owner's home is right next door.
The property is exactly as shown and described. In fact, I'd say it was nicer than the pictures lead me to believe. I loved the bedroom and the kitchen was nice too, although we didn't use it much. The property was clean and nice. Everything was in good working order. Payment was easy, customer service was great. The nearby of Boerne is fun to explore, Kerrville was nice and the jaunt we took to Bandera was fun too. I'm in love with this area. I want to return to this rental and the area soon.
My husband and I had the opportunity for a short escape to the hill country. This place was indeed a piece of country comfort as it's described. Owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs, even little things like welcome snacks. Very quiet and peaceful views. Will definitely return again.
I had a great time at the B&B. Even when it rained, the porch was a wonderful place to really enjoy the view and the peace of the area. Chris thank you for all the wonderful snacks, etc. The kitchen was well-stocked. Loved sleeping in the wonderful bed and had a great time exploring the area shops, restaurants, and gorgeous wildflowers. Wish I had time to explore the ranch, too. Maybe, next time.
