Bedrooms 4
Space 2,008 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 7 nights

About the property

4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, sleeps 8

Beautiful, airy immaculate retreat in Corn Hill, Castle Road area of Truro. Three floors of living space, w/ 4 bedrooms, a quiet cool study, and 3 full baths with marble shower and Italian tile. Light-filled rooms with French doors, many windows, gleaming wood floors and skylights. Yard-level family room opens onto yard with outdoor shower. Well-equipped kitchen, dining area and living room connect through French doors to large deck, with gas grill, overlooking the Pines. A balcony off lovely master bedroom has distant views of Corn Hill. Wireless internet access. Very close to both ocean and choice bay beaches — walk or ride a bike to Corn Hill Beach. This house is convenient to everything, but has privacy and quiet.

Here’s one renter’s perfect day: breakfast on the deck. Down the road to Corn Hill Beach. Swim, sun, read and relax, and then grab your kayak to go past the Pamet Harbor up the beautiful Pamet River at mid to high tide. Then over to one of the many ocean-side beaches for some boogie boarding, at lower tide. Back to the house - an outdoor shower and a cup of ice tea or wine and relaxing. Grill dinner, or go out to local Truro restaurant Blackfish Grill (great food and if they're booked they do take-out - have a cocktail at the bar while you wait for the food!). Watch the sunset at Corn Hill Beach, or from the deck at the house or out on the Parabolic Dunes with Art's Dune Tours out of P-town. Or attend a play at W.H.A.T. (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater), or stay home and relax.

Or . . . .

Wake up and have breakfast on the deck. Take the nature walk at Pilgrim Springs or The Pamet Trails. Go body-surfing and sunbathing at Head of the Meadow Beach. Back at home, take an outdoor shower, and have a nap! Then off to Provincetown for a gallery night at Provincetown's dozens of art galleries, or the PAAM (Provincetown Art Association Museum), looking at art, enjoying a glass of wine and seeing an incredible sunset over Provincetown Harbor! Eat dinner at Cafe Edwige, The Mews, Russo's, Napi's, Joon, Mojo's (great clam stand at the harbor) or the small food court on Commercial St. with picnic tables overlooking the harbor. Then people-watching and browsing in the shops on Commercial Street. See a film at one of P-town's 2 movie theaters or catch a Live Revue! Leave the 'Carnivale' of Provincetown and head back to quiet, starry-skied Truro (>10 minute drive) and relax on the deck star-gazing. Then head up to bed as the night stars and breezes come through the skylights!

Such a comfortable home

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect: close to Corn Hill Beach, Provincetown and the ponds of Wellfleet. The house is 3 stories and gives large families their own space. We spent a lot of time out on the deck grilling and relaxing. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate a large breakfast or dinner and well equipped. The outdoor shower and multiple parking spaces are a plus. Nice kids room and master is beautiful with its own deck. The owner, Judy, is very personable and made sure everything was just right. Thank you so much. We've already talked about coming back next year.

Very clean, comfortable property

  • 5 of 5

We have rented a house on Cape Cod for 16 years now, and this is one of the very few we would return to without hesitation. Our most important criterion for rental is a house that is immaculately clean, and this one is, without a doubt. In addition, it is roomy and comfortable, and has everything you need for a longer-term rental of a few weeks, especially in the kitchen. It is conveniently located, close to Provincetown and the small Truro shopping centers, and to Corn Hill Beach and the ocean beaches, especially Head of the Meadow. The master bedroom is a delight, bright and sunny, and has a great view towards the bay. The house has plenty of windows on every side and French doors, and there is always a lovely breeze floating through. I had my first cup of coffee every morning on the large, sunny deck, where I could watch the birds in the tree tops, and the large flock of turkeys in the yard, which didn't pay any attention to me at all. The owner is very easy to work with, and prompt to answer any questions or to deal with any issues that might arise.

Overall, a terrific vacation rental.

Great home Perfect Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Plenty of room inside and out. My 2 year old grandson had plenty of room to play. The deck had a gate so we could relax and not worry about him going down the stairs. We spent most of the time at the beach but it was nice being able to sit on the deck or on the lawn when we got back. The home was bright and sunny, I was a little worried about it getting too hot in the house but once the sun went down it cooled off fine and there were fans in all the rooms. The home is close to P-town so there are great restaurants and shopping.

There was even a plastic little kids pool that my grandson would play in after the beach and rolling in the lawn. The Disney channel was another big hit for him.

It was a great relaxing vacation. The owner was very pleasant and easy work with. I would highly recommend this home.

We planned our return for next year!

  • 5 of 5

The house is better than pictures! It is very roomy, immaculate and has a great open feeling. From day one we had guests and there was plenty of room for all of us (we are a family of 3 and most days there were 5-6 other people). We really liked the three levels so if someone needed some time alone to read or just needed some space, it was doable. We also spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the great view, peace and tranquility, and of course barbecuing on the new grill!

I loved the master bedroom since it had french doors that open to a small balcony with a beautiful view. All bedrooms are spacious with plenty of closet space. I especially liked having a washer and dryer in the basement. Having three bathrooms was also convenient (top floor bath had a bath tub/shower while the other bathrooms had showers). The outdoor shower was very popular!!

The house is in a great location: close to beaches and 10 minutes to Provincetown. Judy, the owner, provided information and directions on how and where to get a sticker for access to the public beaches. We spent most days at Corn Hill beach, which is right down the road. Very convenient and a really pretty beach on the bay side. Water is calm, especially nice if you have little ones. Just a marvelous beach. You can see P-town from here too.

We spent one day at Head of the Meadow beach. Just beautiful! I loved this beach but be prepared to walk up some dunes to get there. Definitely worth the walk and the fee to park (it is a national park beach). The kids had a ball since it was low tide so they were exploring and walking out on the sand bars. This beach is on the ocean side so you may get lucky and see some seals, which we did!

Savory and the Sweet Escape is a delicious restaurant close by. They have a lot to choose from and we ordered (they deliver too!) pizza and sandwiches and everything was delicious!. The bakery and ice cream looked very tempting too!

We went food shopping at Stop and Shop in P-town which was very easy to get to. We love to cook so we spent most of our time at the house or at the beach!

I would highly recommend this house to rent to friends and family. The owners are great to work with, the house is well maintained and clean and it is conveniently located off of route 6. While there we made plans to rent again next year since we had such an amazing vacation!!
