Superbly situated by the beach, this ground-floor apartment is located at Les Marine de Cogolin, a short drive from the beautiful town of St-Tropez and minutes from the neighbouring resort of Port Grimaud.
The well furnished and airy apartment offers comfortable accommodation, modern facilities and is situated on the stunning Gulf of St-Tropez.
Comfortably sleeping four people, the ground-floor apartment consists of one double bedroom, a single room with bunk beds, plus a sofa bed situated in the living room. In addition, a travel cot is available on request.
The main living area is light and spacious with patio doors leading to a private terrace and surrounding gardens. The space contains two sofas, a dining table and chairs and plenty of storage space. It also boasts a large, modern kitchen area which is well equipped with a fridge, oven, electric hob and dishwasher plus cooking essentials and crockery and utensils.
To the front and back of the property are large terraces with small flower gardens – combining safe play areas and secluded spots – perfect for breakfasting or dining in the evening.
The apartment is ideally located close to the heart of the picturesque Marines de Cogolin – an attractive marina village on the Gulf of St-Tropez.
Local attractions – St-Tropez and Port Grimaud: Just a 5-10 minute drive away, or short hop on the ferry, from the apartment, you will discover the many attractions of St-Tropez – the narrow streets of the historic old port, busy waterfront cafes and restaurants, lively nightlife and people-watching that have made this resort one of the most famous in the world. The twice weekly market (Tuesday and Saturday) is famed for its fresh local produce and crafts.
Located less than a kilometre from the apartment is Port Grimaud – a resort that wonderfully captures the atmosphere of a traditional Mediterranean fishing village. Its network of canals creates an atmosphere reminiscent of Venice with pretty streets and waterways thronged with sidewalk cafes, boutiques and restaurants. There is also a sandy beach offering a range of watersports.
The Cote d'Azur: For those seeking a little relaxation, the local hills inland hide a simpler life – the picturesque hilltop villages of Gassin, Grimaud and Ramatuelle. A great number of day trips are possible along the coast to St-Maxine, Cannes, Nice, Antibes or Monte Carlo. There are also some of the Riviera's finest beaches a short dive away. Provence is strewn with medieval villages, olive groves and lavender fields – a little research or exploration can be immensely rewarding.
We had a lovely end of season week in October at this immaculate
apartment near St. Tropez. Booking was straightforward and everything
we needed was provided and as described in the details.
Beds were comfy: kids in the bunk beds and our friend slept in the
lounge on the bed settee, we didn't fall over each other and this
worked well for us. We shopped and cooked each day, there are
excellent supermarkets, pharmacy etc within a mile and boulangerie
restaurants etc in walking distance at the pretty quay. There is
plenty of crockery etc and facilities are fine for catering for eight
(we had friends staying nearby, and the owners helped us find their
apartment too!). We visited pretty little villages nearby and found
some great restaurants - though one or two had closed post the Summer.
The wide safe sandy beach is a short walk away and the children (I
include my partner!) all had a dip. We ate outdoors as there was sun
in the secluded front patio and the rear garden at different times of
We didn't try the complex own outdoor pool which was even closer but
it looked well kept.
Staff at the complex were helpful and we felt safe and secure letting
the children (early teens) wander.
Planning to return again in spring 2015.
We loved our holiday in this apartment which was in a very quiet position. Centrally placed within the gulf of St Tropez. Well equipped, with comfortable beds and good seating. We took our little dog, and the front and rear gardens were safely enclosed. Really large shared pool on the complex. You can walk to a beach within 5 minutes and the Marina with many places to eat is also around 5 minutes walk. Owners are very helpful. Will definitely be booking again!
We love this apartment! Quiet neighbourhood, easy access, good parking, charming apartment, accurately described. Excellent facilities. A most enjoyable home from home. We visit annually and hope to continue to do so!
Having visited the St Tropez region several times before over the years we have never stayed in the area. We were 100 % satisfied with this beautiful condo so near everything one could wish for. There was the easiest access to the beach and the pool, there was the shortest of drives to the giant local supermarket called Geant. They had a choice of hairdressers in the mall area too and my teenage boys were thrilled about their haircuts. It was a 4-minute drive to St Tropez, what more can you ask for. And the description doesn't tell but there was a nice big fan to keep us cool at night and it didn't get too hot with the shutters down during the daytime either. WE parents loved it when our three teenage boys complained about not having wi-fi (I couldn't care less about that myself and It wasn't an issue for me when I rented) but they managed just fine. They loved all the swimming and the bodyboards the condo provided. A trip to the villages of Ramatuelle and Bormes-Les-Mimosas are worth taking, they are very pictueresque and widen your perspectives of that region of southern France. Any trouble we might have had were dealt with immediately and at amazing speed. Emma was the kindest host we have ever had. We are sure to return to this condo that exceeded all of our expectations! :)
This was the perfect rental for our family vacation in St Tropez! I reluctantly write this review as I fear that it will make it difficult for us to rent the property in the future because too many people will want to stay here!!! The property has the perfect patio for family meals and the location of the patio provides the perfect amount of shade for outdoor meals. The pool area is fantastic for both adults and children, very much like a high-end resort pool with a convenient snack area, restrooms, etc. The pool never felt too crowded and it was always easy to find chairs for our family of 4. We rotated pool days with beach days. The local beach (just a 5 minute walk from the property) was just find, but we found that we enjoyed the beaches and beach clubs in Pamplonne (a 15 minute drive) more than the local one. We had the best of all worlds in this location...the high-end, sophisticated shops and restaurants of St. Tropez within a 10 minute drive and the easy access to a the Geant market and local (read: economical) shops/bakeries a 5 minute drive. We would seriously stay here again (and hope to!). The only thing I wish was that the 2nd bedroom was a bit larger and more of a "real" bedroom (it is kind of in the entryway of the front door). But ultimately it worked fine for our 2 small children, but probably would not be a great set-up for older guests.
Anyhow, and most importantly, the Kimptons were the most accommodating, understanding and honest people to deal with. We made a mistake about our check-out date/time, and rather than be upset, Emma was worried about us and was unbelievably understanding, accommodating and went out of her way to make sure that we had another place to stay for the night! Amazing people! I hope that we can return next summer for 2 weeks instead of 1!
This was our third stay and have already spoken about next Summer and while we looked at other places we can't find better than here.
This location for the South of France is perfect having both a large pool on site and a safe beach just a few minutes walk away.
We drove down but once there hardly needed the car as there is a good selection of restaurants around the nearby Marina and on the beach also. Five minutes stroll to the Marina gets you fresh bread and also a Convenience shop. Another five minutes reaches a large Hypermarket.
The apartment is well furnished, very well fitted out and is light and airy. The rear garden gives a sun and shade area to sit during the day as well as a perfect place for meals.
We were two adults and three teenagers on this last stay and all had a fantastic time.
Wonderful holidays in an apartment and location that we love
The main living area is lovely and looks out on a small private garden. There is also a small front garden with a lovely space to eat out and watch the world go by - check out the budget price and exceptional langoustines and tropezium cakes in nearby shops. Exceptionally well equipped and designed to maximise space it is a good choice for families and ideally placed for touring the whole region. Bunk Beds are in small hall way and living area has additional sofa bed comfy for one or two if you are friendly and there is a seperate double bed room which is compact but pretty.

As well as numerous waterfront restaurants and bars, the village has a variety of shops and facilities. It also boasts a sandy beach that leads directly into the warm waters of the gulf where various water sports (water-skiing, windsurfing and sailing) are available.
For the more adventurous, a scuba-diving school, fishing, horse riding, bowling, the Luna Park funfair and bike hire can also be found nearby. Within a ten-minute walk (three-minute drive) to Le Foux is a large supermarket with shops and banking facilities.
