There is a private, covered, outdoor hot tub to relax in after a fun-filled day in the mountains. The most outstanding amenity is the awesome mountain views (refer to photo # 11 as an example which displays the structure known as 'La Ventana Espanol' - The Spanish Window), which appears to be only a small slit in the distant mountain, but is in fact a vertical drop of over a thousand feet.

Pagosa Springs is a mountain community in Southwest Colorado, offering 320 days of sunshine a year, beautiful scenery including mountains, lakes and waterfalls, lots of outdoor recreation, winter sports and much more.

There is much to do to keep busy. The TREE HOUSE is located just a short walk away from a pristine lake stocked with trout and bass. When you are finished soaking in the on-site hot tub, you can try the famous hot springs in Pagosa. An abundance of outdoor activities make Pagosa Springs a nature lover's paradise. Trophy hunting is available in the San Juans. Wolf Creek Ski area boasts the most snow in Colorado, with an average of over 600 inches per year!

Come play in the mountains and stay in the middle of it all in Pagosa Springs. The Wolf Creek Ski Area is about 20 miles away and the main roads are always kept clean. This ski area gets more snow than any other ski area in Colorado, on average. You will not want to leave!

With its large bedroom/gameroom, which sleeps 3, it offers the perfect 'get away' spot for kids of all ages. The house, with 3200 SF approximately, is suitable for a family reunion, and with 3 acres there is plenty of room to stretch. Treehouse Pagosa

  • 5 of 5

Excellent home for a large group. Loved having three separate areas with televisions. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day on the slopes. We had an abundance of snow, great for building snowmen . With four wheel drive vehicles the driveway was no problem. Thank you for sharing your home with us hope to return next year.

Owner's Response: DJ, We are so pleased you enjoyed our home! The three separate living areas are nice for those that enjoy their TV time and those that just enjoy conversing. We are so happy to hear you had 4WD as that is a necessity during winter months. We welcome your stay anytime!

Amazingly wonderful get-away

  • 5 of 5

We loved the spacious accomadations for our large family. Everyone of us fell in love with the setting and the Treehouse. We have terrific memories of our time together in this home. The kitchen was equipped with every possible piece of equipment we have in our own home.

2 suggestions: add a handrail going down to the game room: Two members of our family fell on different occasions. I am glad my wife was not carrying the one-year old at the time. Also, even though the owners had the long driveway snowplowed one afternoon, a heavy snow fall that evening made it difficult to depart the next morning. I don't know how often one should expect a driveway to br cleared since I am not used to dealing with snow & ice. I will definitely plan on staying there again.

Owner's Response: Hi Allen, Thanks so much for the review! We really enjoy our house and are so happy when our guests appreciate it as much as we do! We look forward to your next visit. We have addressed all of your concerns especially the handrail, so we definately appreciate the feedback. We are glad you also mentioned the drive way, which is why we highly suggest that people use 4 wheel drive when they come up during the winter months. We do take care to have the driveway plowed before each guest arrives. Thank you again for your review. Guests such as yourself help us to constantly improve our property. We look forward to hosting you guys again!

Nice home in the hills of Pagosa

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this home in October, and it fit the size of our group well. The large porch was perfect for enjoying the view and watching the birds and deer in the area! The home was clean and in a conveinient location to town while still being a little more secluded too.

Best ever!

  • 5 of 5

We have been staying in VRBO homes for at least 15 years. This was the best experience yet! Could have spent the whole time just on the deck with the view. But one of the best parts of VRBO homes, is being able to stay in and eat at home. By far the nicest, most completely appointed kitchen ever... with quality items. The house was spotless and Natalie was so easy to deal with that we are looking into their other properties. Thanks so much for a much needed break from life!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in the treehouse. It is just south of Pagosa about 5 minutes. The treehouse offers wonderful views, great outdoor seating and entertaining, a hot tubs that was very well maintained , ample space indoors and wonderful atmosphere. There is plenty of room for parking and the lot is quite large. There is a fence to the property for added safety and great if you have pets. The owners and caretakers are very professional and responsive.
