Situated between the Côtes de Blaye wine producing region and the fields of Cognac, this charming example of a North Gironde stone house featuring canal roof tiles, fenestron windows, South facing.

"La Grande Croisette" was in the TOP 10 /2013 of BELVILLA

The property extends to 8,00m2 (2 acres) comprising two gîtes which can be rented separately or as a unit (see la grande Croisette)

To the rear of the house there are terraces surrounded by flowers benefiting from all-day sunshine, equipped with barbecue and garden furniture; meals and siestas in peace and quiet come naturally.

Further on, in the shade of the trees is the childrens play area comprising swings and a sand box, while for the bigger ones table tennis beckons.

The gîte is a spacious 80m2 (860sq.ft.), combining charm and comfort. There is a living room with stone fireplace and wood-burning stove, a kitchen-cum- dining room, a bed room and a shower room (WC/shower/double washbasins).

One of the most attractive aspects of the region is its central position relative to the chief areas of interest in the South West of France. If you like to wander, you will quickly fall under the spell of places such as Bordeaux, Blaye, Jonzac and Saintes.

If you are a walker or cyclist, you will be amazed by the variety to be found in the rolling countryside surrounding the house: woodlands, vineyards, sweeping sunflower fields with the estuary on the far horizon.

If you are a fan of the sea, the immense Atlantic beaches are waiting for you, if you prefer quiet, the wild coastline is nearby.

For lovers of wine and good food, you will be spoiled for choice with visits to chateaux and restaurants in the region.

Conscious of the need to participate in sustainable development, and to preserve the environment to the best of our abilities:

- we have installed a solar heating system entirely supplied by sunlight,

as well as the wood-burning stoves in the gîtes.

- the hot water system is equally supplied entirely by solar power: representing a saving of +/- 30% for the energy bill for our clients.

- the toilet cisterns function with rainwater.

- a washing machine is available for the use of our clients.

pittoresk uiterlijk met groen-blauwe luiken en rozen tegen de buitenmuur.

zeker geschikt voor vrienden met kinderen die samen reizen, aangezien het appartement in 2 delen is gesplitst die zelfstandig gebruikt kunnen worden.

locatie ook prima, wel veel autorijden om de omgeving te verkennen.

aanrader in de omgeving: de route verte, de groene route langs de kust voert je langs veel leuke of bijzondere plekken.
