|Minimum Stay||2 - 7 nights|
Beautiful house in the center of Bayeux, opposite the famous Tapisserie. This spacious accomodation has been completely renovated in 2012 and offers large rooms and three bathrooms. All rooms have comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. In addition to the front yard this property has a courtyard with a garden, terrace and parking. All the facilities of the authentic center are within walking distance. Boutiques, restaurants and old facades set the scene. Bayeux has beyond its charming appearance, a number of tourist attractions such as its famous carpet and the beautiful cathedral, but also other museums and monuments are worth a visit. From out of Bayeux, you can easily visit Caen and Mont Saint Michel. You will find leaflets with ideas for excursions and activities in the living room and only 500m away from your stay you will find the Tourist Office.
In short: a comfortable, spacious modernized property in an ideal location.

The property was in an excellent location, both for the sights in Bayeux and for visiting the WWII memorials. Plenty of room for five adults traveling together; everything you need for a comfortable stay is included. A couple of observations, for those of us who may be picky: there is no A/C which ordinarily should not be a problem in mid September. However, during our stay this region was experiencing its hottest Sept. in over 40 years. Our son reported the top floor as being oppressively hot. If you are hot natured or hormonal, or planning your stay in high summer, this is probably something you might wish to consider. Also, although there are lovely lace curtains on the bathroom windows directly behind the toilets and bathtub, there are no shades. Modesty was a problem, solved by attaching dish towels to the Windows using band aids and breathe-rite strips! The tile floor in the main bath is also extremely slippery when wet. If you have elderly travelers, you need to be hyper aware. We used extra towels to mop up every drop; still went sliding a couple of times even being diligent and careful. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Proud of their property and rightfully so. Although they spoke only French and we English, we managed to communicate just fine. I would definitely stay here again.
Brilliant holiday which was enjoyed by all our party.
Owners were a delight and the accommodation was in the perfect part of the town. Excellent trip was had by all our party.
Easy walk to Bayeaux center shopping and restraunts. 20 Km to D Day beaches.
In the house we found almost everything we needed. Everything was prepared so we could start our holiday immediatley. The backside of the house was great, the children could play there, several cars could be parked and we could sit in the room outside even when the weather wasn't so good. In Bayeux and the suroundings there are many things to do if you're interested in history, food and culture.
