Wonderful house and food
We stayed here with 8 adults and 3 children and it was the perfect holiday. The house has all the amenities needed to entertain children and adults alike and the food provided by Collete was delicious!
Amazing property, fantastic host and perfect location. A very special place and couldn't ask for any more!
Great location for a countryside get away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The chateaux was stocked with everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and Colette and Karl were great hosts.
What a place!
I have just spent a week at Clos Castaing with family and we enjoyed every minute. Unusually for us we could have happily spent a couple more weeks there. The new pool is a wonderful addition and we also swam in the Dorgodge which is just few steps away. The Chateau has clearly been a well loved home and has a lovely aura. The surrounding countryside and villages are absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Collette for her warm welcome.
A group of us stayed here for a birthday. Loved every minute. Lovely house, relaxing and a beautiful setting
There's not much to suggest that would improve clos castaigne. Everything was amazing. We even had swans on the lake and watched a blood moon rising which cast a mirror reflection on the still waters of the Dordogne. Colette and her husband Carl, the caretakers who live next door, we're kind and helpful. And we looked forward to their cat Caramel's regular visits. Utter perfection.
The Lac de la Caddie, located a few kilometers away, welcomes you for various sports and relaxation activities
