The Dinghy is ideally located for walking to the Sconset Market, The Summer House, the Sconset beach or for enjoying the incredible Sconset Cliff Walk. The Dinghy is a Sconset cottage in a quiet neighborhood with a private yard perfectly suited for cookouts or just enjoying the outdoors. The owner could not have been nicer to us. My wife and I were delayed in arriving at the Dinghy by one day, since ferry service to Nantucket was cancelled due to the Labor Day storm. The owner upon learning of our delay extended our stay by one day at no charge. We really appreciated the extra day, since Nantucket in general but Sconset specifically is a very special place.
We had a great month long stay this July. While the cottage is small (2 BRs), it is perfect for a small family like ours. Walk to everything the wonderful village of 'Sconset has to offer. This is an older 'Sconset cottage with all the charming features that go with that. Great dining table for small casual dinners with friends. Loved it!
Mildew and bugs galore which owner did not want to pay for cleaning then plumbing malfunction had only bathroom spewing raw sewage into yard. Owner does not want to refund the last weeks rent when backyard still filled with poo. We moved out obviously

There is a safe bike trail from 'Sconset to Town or you can use the Wave bus for only $2.00 each way and even put your bike on it.
During July and August at the 'Siasconset Casino', the public is invited to see current movies in the evenings.
There is also tennis in Sconset and a public golf course.
The local market has food supplies, as well as freshly baked blueberry muffins and ice cream.
For dining out, the Chanticleer restaurant is quite lovely, as is the Summer House.
