This is an awesome cottage to relax Inn right on the lake
This was our second year to stay in this cottage. The owners are awesome the cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. Any questions I had were addressed quickly. It was a great two weeks right on the lake !!!!
6th year in a row.
This lakeside house is comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly located on a large freshwater lake, 5 minutes from a supermarket, and 5-10 minutes from various saltwater access points for kayaking. Pemaquid Lake itself is wonderful for quiet paddles around many small islands, and you can paddle through a creek into Biscay Pond. There is a floating dock, and the deck wraps around the house so you can enjoy shade or sun, breeze or stillness, depending on the conditions. The owners are right next door in case anything needs attention. You won't go wrong with this place. We will be back for 3 weeks again next summer.
Wonderful lake side camp.
Lots of windows for light and view of the lake. Large deck for sunning and enjoying the outdoors. Two nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice living room area. Swimming platform and small nrach,. We hated to leave!
Wonderful vacation rental
The setting is picture-perfect and the house extremely comfortable. The owners were very gracious and helpful.
Located in the scenic woods of Pemaquid Lake, Wildwood Cabin offers the peace of lakeside relaxation. While seemingly tucked away, the cabin is only minutes from beautiful downtown Damariscotta, where visitors have access to local shops, artists, restaurants, live music and recreation. Also, visit Boothbay Harbor (only 20 minutes drive) to experience shopping, dining, whale and puffin watching and ocean kayaking. Only 20 minutes to historic Rockland and the Farnsworth Museum where you may see the paintings of Andrew Wyeth. Also 20 minutes away in Bristol, is the Pemaquid Lighthouse, with a gift shop, restaurant and museum, as well as Pemaquid beach, which offers oceanside recreation and a playground. While in Bristol, visit Fort Henry to step back into colonial times and discover early American history. And last, but not least....only 15 minutes to Round Pound, where visitors can enjoy eating fresh lobster right on the pier at Muscongus Bay Lobster Company. At Wildwood, enjoy the best of both worlds!
