Why Joyce and Rick Hubbard chose Karnak
This property is our dream come true. It is the perfect getaway for relaxing, recharging, and enjoying the best nature has to offer. It's been such an amazing place for us, we wanted to give others an opportunity to enjoy it.
What makes this Cabin unique
The entrance to the property is a beautiful path through the center of the woods, which opens up into a breathtaking meadow in the back. It's a picture-perfect setting for the cabin, overlooking the lake for a gorgeous sunset. It's also very close to many attractions, including wineries, Tunnel Hill Bike Trail, Ohio River, Mermet Springs Scuba Diving, and a other state nature areas like Mermet Lake. There is much to do nearby or you can bring your fishing pole and fish the lake for a nice catfish cook it up on the grill dinner. If you prefer you can also sit by the fire or relax in the hot tub under the stars for the rest of the night. Don't forget to watch for the amazing wildlife. There is something for everyone here.

We enjoyed our stay everything was just as described
We were looking for a cabin in a quiet secluded area near Shawnee Forest, and this place was exactly what we were looking for. We could've sat on the back porch all day taking in the scenery. The Deer Lick trail on the property was beautiful to walk through, and we appreciated that it was right off the backyard. This place has everything you'd need to get away from city life such as fishing, campfires, grilling, relaxation, and more. Our only complaints are that the weather was rather cold & rainy for an early October weekend, and the gravel road & gate can be a bit cumbersome to go through each time you leave/return to the cabin. Other than that we loved it, and we can't wait to go back.
We are definitely the place to go to get away from it all. We are glad you had a great visit.
Quiet and Secluded
It is even better than was indicated on VRBO. The place is peaceful and quiet If you want a beautiful place with grounds to match this is your place. The pond is full of fish as my husband and daughter can attest to.
Perfect Anniversary Getaway
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin!! This was the most amazing trip we’ve taken. The cabin was so clean and beautiful and the location was secluded and quiet... We did a lot of exploring and it’s only a 30 min drive to Paducah. We will definitely be back 😄
It's wonderful to hear you had a great visit. We look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Super quite and very homey! I loved it!
If you need a relaxing and very secluded place to stay, this is the cabin for you. There is plenty to do in and out of the cabin. The property it sits on is breathtakingly beautiful. The hot tub, huge fire pit, trails, pavilion were just a few of our favorite parts of this place. You will have a great time and like myself can’t wait to go back!
Thanks again Joyce and Rick!
