Grandview Lofts is a spectacularly clean, four-unit coastal sanctuary just steps away from Grandview Beach, Encinitas California.

SkyLoft & ViewLoft occupy the top floor of our complex and are interior-connected by a hotel-style passage door. Both units have their own private entrance, separate exterior deck areas, and great views.
SeaLoft is located directly below SkyLoft, has the same floor plan, and both face the beautiful Pacific Ocean. (See "Gallery" for layout) Please note that this 3-unit combo does not allow more than 12 adults onsite at any given time, including visitors.

Live like a local in these designer-furnished luxury condo (approx 3500 square feet) that will leave you wishing you booked a longer stay. Take in breathtaking white water and sunset views from the 3 deck areas.
Grab a beach chair and walk just 1 block North to exclusive Grandview Beach and enjoy spectacular cliffs, sandy beaches, and epic surf breaks, all perfect for sunning, surfing, and people watching. And just a short walk back will take you to popular local shops & farmer's markets, coffee houses, hipster cafes, craft beer bars, award-winning restaurants, and fun nightlife. Staying home? Dim the lights, turn on the music channel, open the 3 sliding-glass doors, step onto the spacious balcony, fire up the grill, and enjoy indoor-outdoor living at the beach - SoCal style.
All bedrooms feature king-size beds, and the queen-size Murphy beds in the front rooms of both SkyLoft and SeaLoft have spectacular ocean and sunset views.

A beautiful spot close to beach access.

This property was very much as advertised. Clearly, the owners made every effort to be their guests. Everything from thoughtful welcome gifts to on-site bicycles, helmets, beach chairs, beach toys etc. was available onsite. Each unit was appointed beautifully, providing a very relaxing stay. In fact, we probably stayed at the property much more time than we usually would on vacation because it was so relaxing just being there. We rented all three available condos and upon arrival discovered that a fourth condo in the rear of the property is both private and occupied by the property caretakers. We found them observant but not intrusive during our stay, though they were clearly interested in whether we were respecting the property as per the rental agreement. Bottom line, this was probably one of the top properties we’ve ever contracted for a short stay and we would definitely recommend it to others. Just know that although there are four parking spaces in front of the property, only three are available to guests; one for each condo. That caused us a last minute scramble when we arrived because we had already worked out that there would be plenty of parking for our four cars, not knowing one was reserved for the caretakers. In the end, it wasn’t a big deal because we found nearby street parking when necessary.

Grandview Getaway

What an amazing vacation spot! From the decor, cleanliness and location of this property to the management team, we were all impressed. Having the bikes, boogie boards, surf boards, beach chairs and beach towels made going to the beach, which was less than a five minute walk away, so easy. Loved sitting on the decks in the morning with our coffee as well as enjoying happy hour and the beautiful sunsets in the evening. We highly recommend this property- it was well suited for our teenage grandkids, our adult kids and us (the grandparents!). We would love to return some day. Thank you Steve, Laura, Seth and Tennille!

Amazing property!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Grandview Beach. The View, amenities and special care were just want we were expecting. We will definitely stay again.

We grew up as family friends in the Pacific Northwest, and both relocated to sunny Southern California on our own in the '80s - Laura to Newport Beach, and Steve to the Carlsbad area. In 1994, on a snowboarding trip to Oregon with mutual friends, we renewed our friendship and were married on the La Jolla shores the following year. We have lived and worked in the Encinitas area ever since – we absolutely love the weather, the beaches, the community vibe, and the location just doesn’t get much better. We love to cook, travel, meet people, and create & share new places with others.
