Why Steve Barsh chose Old Town
We love Park City, Utah! We love the skiing in the winter where we are 100% ski-in/ski-out for Park City Mountain Resort + The Canyons and Deer Valley Resort is only 5-10 minutes from us. The summer is absolutely awesome as well! There are so many wonderful things to do with our kids here in Park City -- it's a great place to vacation with them. Park City is so easy to get to as it's only 35 minutes from Salt Lake City (SLC) airport. Our condos' location right on Main Street makes it an ideal location for the whole family as we are just steps from everything.
What makes this Condo unique
It's so convenient. We are 100% ski-in/ski-out (or board-in/board-out for our snow boarding guests) as we are just 50 feet from the ski lift. In the summer, the lift turns into a 'bike lift' for mountain biking access to the Park City Mountain Resort. Being right on Main Street in the 'Old Town' section of Park City is so great as just steps away there are dozens and dozens of great restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, bars, wonderful shops, and galleries.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Labor Day Weekend
The unit and the building were in an excellent location. The condo has wooden blinds throughout which need to be repaired. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Communication with the owner and property manager was excellent.
Great Location and Property
A very nice home and great location. Everything we needed right there. I would stay here again.
Glad you had a great stay and try visiting us in the winter. The ski lift being 100 feet off the building is an amazing amenity!
Everything about our stay here was perfect. Property is beautiful and you cannot beat the location. Will stay here every time we are in the area.
Bradford - so glad you had a wonderful time! Wait till you try The Caledonian in the winter and also experience the 100% ski-in/ski-out access plus all that Old Town Park City has to offer! Thanks for staying with us!
Beautiful Property and so close to all the fun.
The inside of the house was beautiful with a hot tub and great view on the deck. We didn't even use our car. We walked to the Restaurant's and bars. You can even walk to the trails for running, Mountain biking and even to the fun, like the shops and slide.
So glad you had a great stay and could take advantage of the summer activities nearly at your doorstep by staying on Main Street in Old Town. Please come back and try Park City in winter and experience 100% ski-in and ski-out with direct Old Town access! Thanks for staying with us! -- Steve
Really nice and great location. Only downside was AC unit didn't work well and it was hot when we were there
Hi Andrea. Thanks for staying with us! Sorry you had issues with the AC. It's centrally maintained by the building. Not sure if you spoke to the front desk about it or reached out to our property manager. If I knew you were having problems, I would have certainly gotten involved to try to rectify. I did not know there was an issue. I hope you come back to try staying with us next summer or come back and enjoy ski season with us! Thanks again for staying!
We were in PC over July 4th week. There were lots of people and the festivities were great! A parade down Main Street by the condo, a party in the city park(less than half mile away), and lots of great people watching. The condo was extremely clean! Beds are super comfy with great sheets and pillows. The portacrib was super clean and we found an extra mattress to fit it as well. I brought a crib sheet from home and left it to help with that need as we didn’t see one in the apartment. The towels were of good quality as well. There was plenty of room for 3 couples and one 2 year old. There was a problem with the dryer, but we air dried everything which was easy in the PC dry air. The repairman couldn’t come until after the 4th and Steve was great about communication on this matter and even offered to have housekeeping help out. But we managed. Showers were very nice too and a great tub in the master! We had an issue with a power strip under the cabinets that needed resetting, we called the maintenance person and he came right over to show us how to reset it. Our family enjoyed being right downtown with shopping, the chair lift, and restaurants. Not much for a little one to do right there, but we utilized the city park and playground which was an easy walk, ride by bus, or car ride. The bus stop is right behind the building on Park street. The negatives are few for this condo. One is that the air conditioning is building controlled, but opening the windows per instructions at night helped. One problem with that is, the downstairs bedroom window doesn’t open much because of the hot tub blocking it. I think the second negative is the noise from the restaurant below and the street noises with the windows open. But, I think one gets used to these noises as the week goes by. The hiking in PC is wonderful and so many different levels of expertise. We are plant based eaters, and we found a wonderful restaurant to celebrate a birthday just a short drive away. Oh, another activity area we utilized was Park City resort. About 1.5 miles up the base of the mountain. Lots of family fun and restaurants. The parking was amazing in the building with a visitors parking pass given to us for guests. We enjoyed our stay and Steve was a great host.
Thanks Debbie for such a detailed review. Glad you and your family had such a wonderful July 4th stay! It was great that you could take advantage of the central Main Street location, the restaurants, and you got to see a "Norman Rockwell" type July 4th American Parade. Sorry for the 2 small issues you had and glad we could help take care of them right away. Hope to have you back so you can see what Park City is like with snow!
Our luxury condo is located on Main Street in the greatest area to stay in Park City -- historic 'Old Town.' You get the best of BOTH worlds. You are ski-in/ski-out to Park City Mountain Resort (50 feet to the lift), and you are in the heart of town on Main Street with over 100 great restaurants & bars within a 10 minute walk, great coffee shops, great galleries, great bars, great shopping. This condo has location, location, location! As well, you are on the Park City 'bus route' if you would like to use the free Park City bus.
Other Activities: snow boarding, snowmobiling, luge, ski jumping, snow shoeing, bob sledding, fly fishing, live theater.
Golf: Consistently ranked as one of the premier public golf courses in the inter mountain region, Park City Golf Club offers a challenging game at one of the state’s most enviable locations.
First built in 1963 as a nine-hole course, this William Neff, signature golf course was redesigned to its current 18-holes in 1976. The Summer 2003 opening of an updated #18, redesigned by William Neff Jr., promises to reveal what we believe will be one of the classic finishing holes in Utah. In addition to providing professionally designed and well kept greens, Park City Golf Club’s elevation of 6700 feet can actually add distance to your shots while you play on a course that is typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than most courses in the area—a definite bonus during the hot summer months.
Ski: Park City Mountain Resort: Ski-in/Ski-out via the Town Lift 50 feet from the building
Deer Valley Resort: 5 minute drive or hop on the free Park City bus which stops at The Caledonian
The Canyons Resort: 7 minute drive or hop on the free Park City bus which stops at The Caledonian
Alta, Snowbird, and Solitude are all about an hour drive away.
