Chalet, 6 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 18)

Fantastic detached chalet in well known Hopfgarten im Brixental. In a very central location (near the railway, but with no noise through good insulation and a noise reducing wall), nearly right on the practice slope and the ski gondola of the largest ski area in Austria. You don't need a ski bus or car to get to the lift, just walk 2 minutes from the front door to the gondola and slope! The chalet consists of three levels and there are 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room and a lounge room on the top floor with a view of the piste! From the various balconies around the chalet you also have a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. You have this chalet all to yourself, privacy guaranteed. All facilities are within walking distance, you can leave your car parked in the central car park 20 metres from the chalet throughout your holiday. There is a spacious garden around the chalet with a terrace. All in all an ideal holiday home for multiple families or groups.

At the ski lift is also a guarded ski-storage with ski boot dryer heating.

Spacious and comfortable house, well located within the village. Close to national parks and lakes. Well communicated and not far from the highway to visit main cities as innsbruck or salzburg.

Wifi available and working fine.

We were a group of three families, five adults and five teenagers from spain. We only missed a washine machine and some more cleaning utensils (mop, swab....) in spain they are usually provided by the owner.

But we enjoyed a lot our stay and we certainly would recommend this house

For us location was great as short walk to gondola which is manageable in ski boots. Dining area was fantastic as huge square table so great area for socialising. Lounge disappointing as only enough comfy seTing for 6. Two top floor bedrooms small and lacked enough storage space but there is large wardrobe in lounge off these bedrooms. It has to be noted that the two largest and best appointed bedrooms are interconnected so not ideal unless you have children as you have to walk through someone else's bedroom to access one of the large double bedrooms. Accommodation suited our groups needs but any more than 12 people and it would of been a lot less comfortable.

Het huis is gelegen aan een drukke invalsweg en grenst aan de spoorweg maar mede dankzij de goed geïsoleerde ramen heb je weinig last van geluidshinder. De ligging is daarom niet de mooiste maar wel zeer praktisch in functie van bereikbaarheid. De wandelafstand naar de gondel bedraagt 5 min! Het huis zelf is verouderd en de eetruimte alsook het salon boven zijn wat klein in verhouding tot het aantal slaapplaatsen. De kookplaat functioneerde niet goed en op vele plaatsen deed de verlichting het niet. De verwarmingsketel lekte en de thee schenken zonder morsen was niet mogelijk met de beschikbare theepot. Desondanks deze mankementen toch een grote plus voor de flexibiliteit van de contactpersoon ter plaatse (we konden langer van het huis gebruik maken dan de voorziene uitchecktijd van 10u). Ook de pooltafel en de picknicktafel buiten zijn een leuke extra!
