This holiday house is uniquely situated in the midst of a valuable landscape nature area, where the uncommonly green tree frog still is, therefore you need to respect that part of the garden with (drained) lakes. The "sun garden" at the front side of the holiday house is private for the guests and suitable for children. Here you will find absolute peace. The owner lives on the same terrain. Here you can play some golf on the adjacent golf course of Sijsele. The holiday house is located centrally and along a cycling path, which is connected to Damme-centre (4 km), Brugge (8 km) and 12 km from Knokke. Dammenaren is proud of their medieval town and the polder towns along the picturesque Damse Vaart. Damme is is named as the book town and have many little restaurants.

Lovely and peaceful with helpful but not obtrusive owners nearby.
Good for walking, cycling and visits to Bruges, the beach and other places like Sluis, if you wish.
This was our second visit to Pastorale and it was again a wrench to leave. We were fortunate with the weather, it was mainly bright and warm, enabling us to get out and about in the car and on our bikes (the best way to enjoy the countryside and get around Brugge) - or to just sit and read and enjoy the peace and quiet of Pastorale. Our main event was our trip by train to the fabulous Unesco-listed Plantin-Moretus Printing Museum in Antwerp. Philip and Sabine are excellent hosts and we are grateful that they enabled us to share their 'little island' which I describe as a little piece of heaven.
Pleasant relaxing and convent property, with helpful and pleasant hosts. Spacious property with secluded private garden area and shared use of larger grounds in quiet countryside. Pleasant and quiet cycling routes into Brugge Damme and around local countryside. Plenty of local supermarkets, bakers etc.
