Absolutely amazing

I absolutely loved this place. Since it was just me, the size of the apartment was perfect. It had a small balcony with an absolutely amazing view. It was so quiet and relaxing which is just what I needed because this was my first vacation in about 16 years. I needed a perfect getaway and that’s exactly what I got. The bathroom and kitchen were completely stocked. I loved going in to Blowing Rock, which was about 35 minutes away. Everything was there, grocery stores, a mall, restaurants, etc. This really was exactly what I needed to get away from work. Will definitely book again

If You Are Expecting...

a luxury unit, you will be disappointed. However, if hot water, good water pressure, warmth, a comfortable bed, and a well-stocked kitchen are important...this is a good deal. An added bonus is the view of the slopes. It's not "exactly" ski-in/ski-out, but it can be done with some effort. No complaints!

Late summer & fall Sugar Mountian fun.

Avery made the check-in a breeze. He responded to all the questions we had immediately! The views at his condo are spectacular! We stayed 1month & it was the perfect size for the two of us. Also the king size bed is very comfortable. The clubhouse pool, hot tub & sauna was wonderful after a long day. The location was very convenient to the activities we like hiking, golf and site seeing! We can't wait to return in the future! Thanks Avery!

Honestly…

This is all the way up the mountain and right beside one of the higher slopes. If you are an experienced ski/snowboarder and want easy access to the slopes this is perfect! If you’re not experienced or have beginners with you, then you’ll have to drive the approximately 12 minutes down to the parking lot, which really isn’t so bad if you don’t mind driving. The view was great, all the appliances worked great, and there was heat and hot water! This place doesn’t have a washing machine and dryer, but there is coin-laundry nearby. The place itself was clean, but could benefit from an upgrade. There is a clubhouse nearby that offers a pool, hot tub, etc.! We ended up having 3 people, 2 on the bed & 1 on the pull out couch. That worked fine for us. It’s an open layout, so the only privacy you get is in the bathroom. I would stay here again if I have a small group again, but 4 adults may would be too much of a crowd depending on how much luggage and space you take up. I’d say it’s just right for 3 people. The owner is very quick to respond to questions and is very nice! So overall for the money I’d say it was a good choice! Thanks for letting us stay!
