Rates for this 4 bedroom Kiawah Island West Beach Villa are lower than market price -- especially so, considering the Villa is located VERY CLOSE TO THE BEACH -- less than a two minute walk on a pretty path without any roads to cross.

However, rather than being with a rental agency, the owners prefer to telephone and talk with our guests, to ensure that our guests (and we) feel comfortable. We appreciate that our Guests return again and again.

Pristine Beach, Golf, Tennis, Biking, RELAXING!!: Kiawah Island golf is world renown. The Ocean Course, Osprey Point, Turtle Point, Cougar Point (which is walking distance from our vacation home), and Oak Point are available for your golfing pleasure. We recommend that you make tee times prior to your arrival on Kiawah. We can assist.

The West Beach Tennis Complex (which is walking distance from our vacation home), and the East Beach Tennis Complex offer world-class tennis.

Kiawah Island provides more than 40 miles of paved biking and hiking trails -- plus ten+ miles (the beach is growing and lengthening and may now be about 11 or 12 miles long) of hard and soft-packed sandy beach.

Level land, fun biking! ... AND RELAXING!!

KAMP KIAWAH and NIGHT HERON PARK: Kamp Kiawah offers full and half day programs for children aged three to eleven. Kids over eleven can join a separate youth or teen program. Space is limited, so sign up early.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained

The villa was in a great location, within walking distance to the Straw Market, the beach and tennis courts. The kitchen was well supplied and had very nice appliances all clean and well maintained. The owner was available to answer questions right away by phone. The beds, and other furniture were also all in excellent condition and very comfortable. We had a great time playing tennis, eating out a few times, biking, going to the beach and shopping. Bike rental is a great idea and can be ordered before you arrive.

Fantastic Vacation!

Excellent rental. We had four couples staying at the house for a wedding on the Island and had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and the amenities were great. The location was very convenient and only a short walk to the beach. Bike rentals were also easy and a very nice touch.

Joan was great to work with -- very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this rental and would certainly stay there again.

Memorable family vacation in Fairway Oaks Villa!!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in the Gilmores' Fairway Oaks villa. The entire resort area is lovely--with lush foliage, beautiful golf courses and many opportunities for outdoor activities. As listed, the villa is clean, well cared for and spacious--with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and a great deck out back. The walk to the beach is very brief--and the beach was fabulous--clean and not at all crowded even on the Memorial Day weekend. Joan and I spoke several times by phone, and my email inquiries were responded to quickly. I would definitely recommend the property to a family group--it easily accommodates 8--and would suggest making reservations for bike delivery in advance, as ours were waiting for us when we arrived. Loved Bohicket Marina restaurants/activities, and Newton Farms Market at Freshfields Village is a great upscale grocery. We hope to be able to return for another week very soon!!

Great location

We had a great time at this rental. It was two families (4 adults and 4 kids total). The property was very well maintained and stocked and the location was excellent - just a quick walk to the beach and in walking distance of stores/shops. This was our first visit to Kiawah and we loved how we could bike everywhere we wanted.

Wonderful vacation at Kiawah Island

this time is my second time that I spent my vacation in this property. everything still be the same, wonderful place, beautiful view, near the beach, pool everything is PERFECT.

the owner is very helpful they take a good care of property this house can be my dream house we will come back again for sure

Our four bedroom villa is ideally located on Kiawah Island's West Beach Village. This Four Bedroom accommodation is a short & pretty two minute path to the Spectacular Beach with pristine Ocean Swimming. There is no road to cross for you to arrive @ the 10 MileWide expanse of Kiawah's beach!

Also, walk to Cougar Point Golf Course, and West Beach Tennis Complex. Stroll to the nearby Straw Market. Walk or bike on the pedestrian/bike paths to nearby Night Heron Park.

And, just outside Kiawah's gate is Freshfields Village with a wonderfully complete food market, clothing stores, art galleries, hair salon, medical and dental facilities, pharmacy, Indigo Books, liquor store, dry cleaner, banks, sports bar/pub, fine restaurants, pizza, coffee shops, farmers' market, and so forth, as well as scheduled special entertainment events. Be sure to visit Freshfields for shopping and many family events including summer outdoor movies.

Other Activities: Downtown Charleston is less than a 30 minutes drive -- museums, antiquing & exceptional restaurants, theaters, shopping, walking tours of Civil War era homes, parks, churches, etc. Charleston is an enchanting town!

Golf: Emjoy Kiawah Island Resort's FIVE renown Golf Courses. Call us for additional information in advance.

Ski: Various water sports are available at Kiawah's spectacular ocean beach. Fishing boats and skiffs, etc. are available at nearby Bohicket Marina. Biking on the beach and many bike paths is great!

Also there is Kayaking in Kiawah's beautiful tidal marshs.

Shelling along the ten mile long sandy beach is fabulous and beautiful. Bring a bucket from our 'beach closet' for the many shells you will find.

PER KIAWAH ISLAND RULES AND REGS -- No Grills are allowed on any wooden decks according to the Town of Kiawah Ordinances, so WE are unable to provide a grill. However, GUESTS, if you wish, you may bring your own portable grill. (Unfortunately, I cannot legally provide a portable grill for your use.) Please use YOUR OWN GRILL only on front or back yard, but not on the wooden deck.
