A first floor appartment in an otherwise unoccupied former farm building in Styria - just 25km from Graz. Downstairs is unoccupied, and at the top of the private staircase there is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and TV to the right, and on the left the main body of the appartment. Converted in 2003, the appartment is still in very good condition, with attractive bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is basic, but compensated for by the popular Buschenschank next door - one of many farmer's bars which sells home grown food and drink - for which the region is famous. That includes wine, honey, meats, bread and more. Very rural in feel, and extremely relaxing.

Auto bei allem unabdingbar. Das Haus dürfte aus unserer Sicht im Sommer ab 30 Grad nicht vermietet werden! Sind nach 36 Std. Aufenthalt wieder abgereist aus Angst vor Kreislaufkollaps, Haus ist wie ein Brutofen!

Het huisje lag erg mooi op een zeer afgelegen plek. Er is een zogeheten "buschenschank" bij, dat betekent dat de boer en boerin hapjes en drankjes verzorgen in een soort van eetcafé (geen warm eten). Alleen open in het weekend, en dit zorgt zeker niet voor hinderlijke drukte (voornamelijk lokale mensen, heel rustig en om 22u dicht). Wel grappig om de zelfgemaakte wijn uit de wijngaarden om het huisje heen te kunnen drinken.

We vonden het huis wel erg karig ingericht, geen deksels voor op de pannen, geen waterkoker, nauwelijks een haakje om handdoeken op te hangen etc. Wel is het huisje erg netjes, mooie ruime slaapkamers en veel ruimte om het huisje heen. Al met al hebben we er een aangenaam verblijf gehad.
