Asheville is a city in western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s known for a vibrant arts scene and historic architecture, including the dome-topped Basilica of Saint Lawrence. The vast 19th-century Biltmore estate displays artwork by masters like Renoir. The Downtown Art District is filled with galleries and museums, and in the nearby River Arts District, former factory buildings house artists' studios.

It was the perfect place!
It was new, it was clean, it was close to everything a couple parents needed for a weekend in Asheville without the kids! The owners were super responsive and met our every need. A hop, skip, and jump away from the Biltmore and Downtown Asheville as advertised! We will definitely look to see if we can stay there again.
Asheville for parental retreats! There is more than great breweries. My wife and I have been here a year and I'm still finding surprising gems. The arboretum last weekend had a local orchestra perform in the gardens; the gardens and views themselves are stunning. Sunday, a friend pulled me into a burger cook-off at the Salvage Station: live music, a dozen food trucks competing for the best slider burgers, view of tubers drifting down the river...Asheville, what's next? Well, how about "The Bacon Fest"?
Thanks for staying,

Cozy hideaway with a perfect location
We rented this place because we were attending a wedding at the Biltmore Inn. It is located about 5 minutes from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate! It was perfect for our 3-day stay - super clean and a had a comfortable bed. It was a quiet area and was a great place to come back to at the end of a busy day!
Good bang for the buck!
clean. was glad to find hand lotion! Plenty of kitchen utensils. They offered to launder our towels half way thru our 4 night stay. It was not over-priced, good bang for the buck! This a one room for all activities place. Directions left on the table were helpful. I would suggest mentioning the small winding road to get to the house before arriving; at night could be challenging! We found it to be damp with our towels not drying .. would suggest leaving AC or heat on even tho it's requested to turn off when you're not there. insufficient indoor lighting: need light for "kitchen table" so you can read without turning all the ceiling lights on (if somebody still asleep) and reading light on BOTH sides of the bed/wall for same reason. Dresser was too wobbly to use: suggest shim under legs. In light of that, one more luggage rack would be helpful. Shower liner mildew. These are all minor things that can be easily remedied.
Super suggestions. Thank you. We are on it: curtain replaced, dresser shimmed, and hunt for the right reading lights is on.
Rain keeps these mountain woods green and streams and water falls flowing, but we are still getting our share of warm days (50's and 60's) and the leaves have been beautiful. Biltmore Estate started its Christmas decorations and evening candlelight tours. Art tours on the River Art District continue. And if you are a tennis fan, the Fed Cup returns this February.
Best, Doug and Ann
Home is in great location to restaurants, breweries and shopping. Owners go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.
With every guest we learn a little more about Asheville -- and the tips, haunts, events, activities seem endless. The trees are turning color this week. Spectacular! A friend gave me the name of a funky restaurant and a trail by a lake to hike: Stoney Knob Cafe and Beaverdam Lake. On my way.
Come visit. You'll never tire of this place.

Cozy, comfortable, and great location!
The stay was very cozy and comfortable! Location was great! Close to downtown! We would definitely stay there again!
Temps are cooling, but Asheville is alive during all seasons. Hiking and tennis is perfect now. Nights are comfortable to put on the sweater or light coat, and music continues to play at many restaurants and venues.
Thursday the River Art District had an open house: pottery, art, jewelry, blown glass... gallery after gallery in walking distance. Always something to do.
Come visit. Our studio is close (1.3 miles) to the Biltmore and the down town.
Thanks for staying with us,
Doug and Ann
Nice weekend getaway...
The place was perfect for our needs-close to downtown and Biltmore. It was clean and comfortable-you could tell Doug and Ann take pride in the rental. They were wonderful hosts and even offered advice on restaurants and entertainment. I highly recommend this cute studio apt for a nice weekend retreat!
