La Tzoumaz 4 Vallées - Verbier distance to ski area: ~350 m accommodation Chalet Harmonie Magnificent chalet on three floors, with fireplace and internet access. Very impressive living room with dining area and cozy chimney place. Five of the seven bedrooms are 'en suite' with their own bathroom. Great situation, about 150 m walking distance from the resort centre of La Tzoumaz. In the centre you'll find a small supermarket, shops, restaurants, kindergarten and bank. So there is no need of a car for skiing, shopping or dining. To the cable-car it is just a 350 m walk (direct cable car link to Verbier and its ski area), the slopes, ski school, indoor swimming pool and ice rink. ski info Chalet altitude chalet 1.550 m; top of the ski slopes 3.330 m on the Mt Fort glacier.; 410 km of alpine slopes, 95 ski lifts, biggest swiss ski area. 10 km sledge run, accessible via cable car. One member of the guests group has to be aged 25 or older > a credit card number has to be given to the local responsible in order to cover possible damages exceeding the chalet’s deposit. Wir bedanken uns für den guten, angenehmen Aufenthalt im Chalet Harmonie in La Tzoumaz, Riddes, Schweiz bestens.

Die Ankunft war durch den Hausverwalter gut vorbereitet, wir fühlten uns nach der Besichtigung und dem Rundgang schnell zurecht und willkommen.

Die Unterkunft passte für unsere Bedürfnisse bestens. Ein Teil unserer Familie nutzte die Räumlichkeiten im Parterre, der andere Part das 1. OG und die Senioren das 2. OG. Im grosszügigen Gemeinschaftsraum mit der gemeinsamen Küche pflegten und verbrachten wir wir die gemeinsame Zeit. Das Jaccuzzi und die Sauna waren in einem guten, gepflegten Zustand und verschönerten unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Auch sehr angenehm empfanden wir die genügende Anzahl Nasszellen (Bad, Dusche, WC), so gab es nie Diskussionen wer wann die Dusche nutzen kann.

Die kleinen Details und Defekte konnten wir direkt und unkompliziert mit dem Hausverwalter regeln.

Das Skigebiet von La Tzoumaz genügte unseren Ansprüchen und war dank der Schattenlage noch überall befahrbar. Die Skischule für unseren Nachwuchs entsprach ebenfalls unseren Vorstellungen. Sie ist gut geführt. Der örtliche gratis Skibus war eine angenehme Erleichterung zur Erreichung der Télécabine. Hingegen war die Nutzung des Skigebiets Les 4 Vallées für unsere Fortgeschrittenen Profis recht mühsam zu erreichen. Wegen dem Tauwetter war der Skihang südlich Savoleyres-Verbier nur noch teilweise befahrbar und somit die Transferpiste in schlechtem Zustand. Die Busverbindung am Nachmittag vom Ende der Piste Les Planards zur Télécabine nach Savoleyres eine Zumutung (in Stosszeiten).

Im Ort La Tzoumaz selber gibt es nur eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit für Lebensmittel, die ist aber absolut in Ordnung und gut geführt. Ebenfalls war die Skimietung problemlos möglich (Intersport). Hingegen ist eine brauchbare Gastronomie praktisch inexistent oder unsere Ansprüche allenfalls zu hoch.

Über alles war aber unser Aufenthalt gut und machte Spass.

Was een mooie vakantie met gans ons gezin,kinderen en kleinkinderen.

Chalet daarvoor zeer goed met 7 slaapkamers en badkamers.

Prijs ok t.o.v. andere grote chalets in Zwitserland.

Voor echte bergtochten is de vallei wel minder dan de verdere valeien in het Rhone dal.
