Safe, clean, and cute place. Close to downtown.
We spent one night and it was perfect for what we needed--a safe, clean place to crash after a night on the town. The apartment sleeps 6 comfortably. The bathroom is recently updated. The kitchen was stocked with some basic essentials. Plenty of off street parking. It's very close to some trendy restaurants and there was even a farmer's market happening on the Sunday that we checked out, just a block away. We were about a 15 min uber ride from OTR, and were able to get rides no problem; even though it was a busy Saturday night during Oktoberfest. Stan was super friendly and helpful. He was readily available to make sure my check in went smoothly and to answer any questions. Thanks Stan! We would definitely stay again!
Sweet Spot in Hyde Park
Our week in Stan's apartment was great - it was comfortable, convenient, clean, even thoughtfully stocked with kitchen sundries. Stan was always available, helpful and friendly. We love the location right in Hyde Park Square, walking distance to shops and restaurants, and would recommend this sweet spot.
Thanks so much for staying with me Kathy and Im glad it worked out great for you and family.
Great Place to Stay; Great Location.
Nice house in a location that is perfect for easy access to Hyde Park, golf courses and downtown Cincinnati. Very enjoyable stay. The owner Stan, was very accommodating and friendly in making sure that our stay went smoothly.
Kerry, glad you enjoyed your headquarters for your golf/baseball outing in Cincinnati....and yes, my family did enjoy the pizza.....thanks again. I'd love to host your group again!
Great location, a few hiccups resolved by the property owner
This property is in an awesome location just off of Hyde Park Square - if you're not from Cincinnati, Hyde Park is a great central area with plenty of restaurant and shopping locations within walking distance. Highly recommend this property on location alone! We stayed here while we were moving out of our house in Hyde Park and found it to be really convenient for our needs. The property feels large between the four bedrooms, and the kitchen and sitting areas, while small, would work for shorter stays and smaller groups. We had a few hiccups when we arrived that had to do mainly with cleanliness, but the property owner was very responsive and was able to resolve the issues fully. (he was surprised with the situation, so I think it was just a bit of a miss, happens to all of us). We read reviews talking about street noise at night, but we didn't notice that or have any issues. Ask about parking - when we first arrived we found the situation confusing, but again the property owner was able to direct us to a spot that was off-street and easy to navigate. Definitely recommend this property for visitors to Cincinnati - being a few houses up from the square, it's got the best of everything - urban feel with shops and restaurants, with the peacefulness of being in a residential area.
Thanks Anne Marie......hope all is well in Germany!
Great Hyde Park location
Very nice house located just a block from Hyde Park Square and, best of all, Arthur's and The Echo - great places to eat and drink.
We stayed in the second floor unit and it was perfect. There are stairs - going to and from the property and inside, so not suitable for special needs and a tad tough for older folks, but posed no problems for three 50s-60s. Two bedrooms on the main are very comfy and upstairs has two rooms with a single each. The kitchen has everything you need, and then some. The living room has plenty of seats for relaxing and conversation. There's off-street parking.
The owner, Stan, is very responsive to any questions you might have. He was away while we visited but he still stayed in touch and had someone nearby to take care of a nothing we needed. Excellent service!
The Hyde Park location is central to the East Side of Cincinnati making it very easy to get to anywhere in the city. A bus destined for downtown passed by, so there is public transit right out front (well, the stop is probably on the square).
Uber is a bit sketchy in Cincinnati but it does appear they've succeeded in putting taxis out of business, so you really need a car in town.
All positives about this property as a very nice place to stay while visiting Cincinnati. Five stars!
We enjoyed our stay while in town for a wedding on the river.
A short walk to charming Hyde Park with great eats, shopping and friendly locals.
The property was clean and well appointed, perfect for our needs and very comfortable.
Definitely would return!
