The Chateaux is in Indian Shores, Florida, a small beautiful beach community located between Clearwater and St. Petersburg. Enjoy exceptional views of the beach during the day, and gorgeous sunsets in the evening from your private beachfront balcony. The pool was renovated in September 2012 and a new elevator has been installed.
You can also venture out for day trips to the Disney theme parks in Orlando or Busch Gardens in Tampa. Fishing, golf courses, and water sports are nearby. Enjoy excellent restaurants within walking distance or try out the fully equipped kitchen and have a romantic dinner on your balcony. For you sports enthusiasts, catch a football game at Raymond James Stadium, baseball game at Tropicana Field or a hockey game (our favorite) at Amalie Arena, all within 45 minutes.
There's a trolley stop in front that runs from St. Pete Beach to Sand Key daily. Our beautiful condo has been completely renovated, and has all the amenities of home. Just bring your beach attire and enjoy!
We were extremely happy to be able to return for the third time in as many years. This beautiful condo has become our home away from home. We had a wonderful vacation on the beach and enjoyed staying at this beautifully decorated condo.
Condo is renovated and generally well equipped with most everything you need for a short or long stay. Condo is tiled throughout which was perfect for cleanups and bathroom was renovated with great tiled shower. Furniture is new and comfortable and we even slept on the murphy bed a few nights so we could leave door open to here the ocean at night. Murphy bed is much more comfortable then a soda bed so this is great option for a one bedroom condo.
Patio furniture was comfortable and in fact we never once ate at the condo table since we ate every meal on the patio when eating in.
Condo building was clean and well maintained and with underground parking which was a bonus. Pool area was clean as was pool anytime we used it which wasn’t very often since we were on the beach most every day.
Owner (Tonja) was easy to deal with and responsive to all communications before and during our stay.
One and only real big issue we had with this rental was the poor internet connection. Was slower then even any dialup we have ever used so this is one upgrade that the owner should consider for the future. For Canadians with limited cell phone plans having a good internet service means allot.
Other then that we really enjoyed our stay on Indian shores and at this condo and would rent again in the future if we decided to stay in this area again.

April 2nd to April 30th
That was our second stay at this place and it was great again.
Condo is perfectly located, literally on the beach, close to restaurants, shops or mini golf course.
It is ideally small (1 bedroom) - perfectly comfortable for the couple and sufficient for smaller family with max. 2 kids (thanx to additional Murphy bed in living room).
It is well equipped with everything that you would need during holidays (starting from kitchen utensils, sheets and towels, through books or DVDs to beach toys, chairs, umbrellas or a beach tent).
Apart from few dust bunnies on our arrival and quite slow internet (at least in comparison to our European standards - 1 Mbps there vs. 75 Mbps at home), everything else was really OK.
I honestly recommend it to anybody.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us once again. Our vacation this year was even better than last year's, the view, weather and the ocean were perfect. Walking into the condo for another great stay was like walking into our own home. Hopefully our travels will take us back again next year or sooner.
We loved our week in Indian Shores! We especially loved the low-key, relaxed and friendly area- it was nice to meet so many nice people along the beach, at the pool and along the bike/walk paths on the street. We were here during the NCAA Tourney, so it was awesome to see so many fellow Michigan fans!
This condo is very well-equipped and we were never in need of a thing. We especially appreciated the "extras" like dish soap & dishwashing detergent, coffee filters, bleach wipes, dryer sheets, etc.- assumingly they were left behind by previous guests, but these are things one hates to buy, yet are usually needed, so it was nice to find them. The unit is very clean, there are plenty of towels and TONS of things for the beach- umbrellas, chairs and even a boogie board! Again, it's nice to have those things available.
Location could not be better! Directly across the street is a mini golf- it's a nice one, but pretty expensive so be prepared and use coupons. We also visited Winter the dolphin in Clearwater- our girls were in heaven! Again- use coupons- you can get buy one/get one free from the internet- a great deal! John's Pass is a quick drive- we love the pizza at DeLosa's! Didn't do it this trip, but the Dolphin Quest cruise was super fun, as was parasailing.
Thanks Tonja- we'll definitely be back!
The condo was beautiful the weather was perfect and we had a great vacation. We meet some wonderful people by the pool. The view from this unit is spectacular especially during supper time. It was simply breath taking eating supper and watching the beautiful sunset. Tonja, thank you very much for sharing your condo we will definitely be back again soon.
We had a fabulous time on our mini getaway! The condo was everything we needed and then some! The pictures didn't come close to how beautiful the condo was. It has just resently been updated! Very nice! And since it's on the 5th floor the views from the balcony were unreal! I would set out there and watch the beach come alive in the morning! And then watch the beautiful sunsets in the evenings! Lots of great restaurants close by! PJ's and JD's to name two! Thanks for a great time!
