The warmest of welcomes from Valerie to their stylish holiday home - everything you need to do as much or as little as you want. Stunning scenery, quiet roads, plenty to explore, and that view from the terrace...........amazing!

Stunning

  • 5 of 5

The property is set in a unique position with panoramic views across fields, vineyards with the Pyrenees as a back drop. The house is huge, beautifully equipped and Valerie is loveliness personified. You are minutes from a great supermarket and 20 minutes from Pau if you want civilisation. Have never stayed anywhere better.

Relaxation at its best!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in April. The house was extremely clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and hot shower. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and accessible if needed. They offered us several ideas for hiking in the area which we enjoyed, but the views of the surrounding hills and Pyrénées in the distance were stunning and made staying at home equally enjoyable. We delighted in sitting amidst the calm and hearing nothing but the sounds of nature. Very relaxing which is what vacation is meant to be! We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week at the foot of the Pyrenees.

  • 5 of 5

We book this house for a week in April. The house and property are just as represented on the website. It is cozy in a casual modern style that is comfortable and easy to live in. The property has a beautiful large garden area, and is located in the rolling wooded hills at the base of the Pyrenees south of Pau, and has views of the mountains from the back. The guest house has a good size living area with large windows and glass doors all around. A wooden deck surrounds the living area outside. There are two bedrooms each with its own bath: a large airy bedroom upstairs and a smaller one downstairs. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped for anything you would want to cook. There was even a bottle of the owners' own very good white wine in the frig. Valerie greeted us as we arrived, as she and her husband occupy the house adjacent with the red shutters. They are a very friendly, helpful couple, who thankfully speak very good English as we spoke little to no French. They provided excellent information concerning the local area, including excellent and accurate hiking advice for the Pyrenees. We took two of the recommended hikes and enjoyed them both. The house is within a short distance to the town of Gan, where you can buy all you need to supplement your stay, including a large Super U grocery store. When we are back in this area of France, we will certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.

Probably best play we ever stayed at

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this place is great: the house is sweet and cosy, well equipped and comfortably planned. There's a terrasse with a table, few chairs, few sunbeds and, well, a stunning view to the surrounding hills. Valerie, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and already want to be back.
