We moved to Sioux Narrows, Ontario and bought our resort in 1990. We felt it was a great place to raise our son and daughter. We love owning our resort and are very out door people. Fishing being one of our favorite outdoor activities. Both Tim and our Son Brian do Guided fishing trips for our guests.
Even after over 20 years of doing this we still love it so much.
Karen McNanney purchased this cabin in 1990

Seven years ago we (my brother and I) picked this resort from 40 others that we gathered info on at the All Canada Show. We have never forgot how lucky we were. On our first visit we were provided with a lake map and Brian who also guide, marked about 30 hotspots depending on the species we wanted to chase. the first night after dinner we went and caught approx. 30 pike all in the 24 - 32" range. The next morning before breakfast we went out and caught about 20 smallmouth. The food is the best, we do breakfast and dinner, you will go home at least 5 lb. heavier. They let us pick our meal times so we can maximize our time on the water. This a true family business and they work their tails off to make our week there special. To that end they have succeeded seven years in a row. over the years we have stayed in 3 different cottages, my brother and family in 2 others, and for the last 2 years our sister in another. All the cottages are very nice, modern and super clean. Every year we find new spots to fish but we also find new spots that we just don't have time to get to, theirs always next year. Yes, we will be going back. I can't imagine us not going here. I am 60 years old and still get excited when getting ready to return.I would and have recommended the resort to anyone!
We stayed there for a week last year in Maple. The cabin was very nice with an excellent view of the lake. The beds slept very well and leaving the windows open in the evening made it cool enough to pull some blankets on while listening to the loons outside.
We got the package that included evening meals in the lodge. There was something different to eat every evening. Be careful or you will gain weight up there.
We utilized the guide service for two of the days we were there. He put us right on the walleye we needed for the shore lunch and then we small mouthed fished all afternoon. I highly recommend you get at least one day of guide service to enjoy the shore lunch.
