Michael purchased this villa in 2013
A lovely traditional Montenegrin cottage in a beautiful location. It's a shame we couldn't stay a week longer as we really didn't want to go! We imagined a "cottage" fairly small in size due to the name but we arrived to find it is probably more accurately described as a traditional Montenegrin villa! Great facilities and the view is unbelievable.
Lucici village is a tranquil hillside retreat away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the towns of Herceg Novi and Dubrovnik. This once ruined hamlet has been painstakingly restored using local materials and traditional techniques.
Located on the gently sloping foothills of Mount Orjen, where the verdant hills tumble down into the sparking blue entrance of the Bay of Kotor, the peaceful village is set among cypress trees and has some spectacular views.
Hot sunny days can be spent around the shared infinity pool - an ideal spot for sunbathing with fantastic views of Kotor Bay. Beside it is a small spa centre with a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and massage room where massages are available (on a request basis via the local rep).
Just 4km from the bustling resort town of Herceg Novi and less than 30 minutes drive from Dubrovnik airport, getting to Lucici Village could not be easier. The location makes for the perfect base from which to explore the Montenegro coast, though the views and peaceful atmosphere at Lucici Village may make it difficult for you to leave.
