Always loved the area's beauty, peacefulness and proximity to some of the most spectacular and pristine wilderness in the United States. Love the recreational offerings from hiking and exploring to horseback riding, ziplining, panning for gold, to rafting, fishing and windsurfing.
The house is very easy to get to and is located in an amazing setting overlooking the Yellowstone River Valley also known as Paradise Valley. It has acreage with end of the road privacy yet convenient to all the area has to offer. A great place to unplug, rejuvenate, re-energize and/or blissfully relax.
This property has everything, plenty of sleeping rooms, kitchen has everything, and the hot tub at night was amazing. We had unlimited mule deer just walking around the property. Wireless is strong, no issues.
The property was extremely clean. You can see the effort made in cleaning before each visit. The cleaning lady even left us a gift basket of trail mix and popcorn.
There is a well stocked convenience store just down the street. Very easy to shop for main food items in a Livingstone.
Would highly recommend dinner in the main dining room at chico hot springs. One of the best meals you can find anywhere
In summary, Robert has a wonderful home with everything you need. He is very communicative and answers any question you might have on the area.
This is a beautiful place with awesome views of the mountains! Would reccommend it for anyone.
Awesome Home. Much better than going back to a hotel room after a long day in the park. We loved cooking at home rather than trying to satisfy 6 healthy appetites at restaurants. Had my husband, myself and 4 adult children, it was the first vacation where they all had their own space to retire to. All the comforts of home.
Drove into the park every day. There was something new to see on the drive every day. Hot Tub was awesome to sit and watch the stars. It was very nice to have laundry facilities as we are in the middle of a month long vacation on the road. Lots of beautiful lightning storms. Emigrant Peak was on fire during our stay but we were not affected and the fire Marshall's were set up at the general store and very informative.
Loved visiting with the mule deer every morning, they love to lay in the shade of the house during the heat of the day and are not scared of people as long as you make no sudden moves. Beautiful swans in pond at the bottom of the mountain.
Thanks Bob and Pam for sharing your home with us. If there were anything I would change it would be the lack of curtains in the bedrooms and small fans in the bedrooms as they got very warm. However if you are an early riser and love to wake up with the sun this is not an issue. If you leave the bedroom doors open it creates airflow that cools off the bedrooms
All in all I would definitely recommend this home as a base from which to have an awesome Yellowstone vacation. Very comfortable beds, nice to have two showers, use of cooler and plenty of Tupperware bowls for picnicking in the park, plenty of brochures if you are looking for something different, and most important plenty of room for our family of 6 adults to either spend time together or disappear for some alone time. Fire pit, charcoal and gas grill....too many amenities to mention.
Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home in such a beautiful setting.

We arrived at the vacation home on June 1st and we were so pleased to find mountains all around the property. Yes the pictures on the site showed mountains; but you can't capture all that surrounding beauty in a picture.
The house was perfect for us; every window had a view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the house was well equipped. We spent most days in the park but were always looking forward to coming back to this home. The hot tub on the back deck was just what the doctor ordered after a day hiking in the park.
The basket on the dining room table was loaded with brochures and maps of the area; particularly Yellowstone Park. We also added a few ourselves.
We dined at Chico Springs and we both highly recommend it. The beef Wellington is enough to make this restaurant one of your favorites; it was our best dining experiance of our trip.
We used Wild West Rafting and took an 8-mile trip down the yellowstone river and had a wonderful time.
We had three nights that were cloud free and the view of the Milky Way was awesome. We had such an amazing time that we already booked for the fall of 2014 and can' t wait to we get back.
Very nice views. Road to home could be graded for smoother ride. Rail to basement would be a big plus. Upstairs stairs very steep for older persons. Otherwise, top notch home. Beautiful scenery, very quiet area. Nice deck for viewing stars. Long drive into Yellowstone if you plan to go more than once, it gets tedious because you need to go the same way every time. We traveled over 1700 miles in rental car, loved exploring the back roads in Paradise Valley, even moreso than Yellowstone.
Most everything needed is supplied by the owners, which makes a nice stay.
We stayed here for 10 days. A family of five. Plenty of room to move around. We had neighbors but never saw or heard them. Very quiet and serene area. About 30 minutes from the North gate of Yellowstone. We drove into the park each day and then came home to a very relaxing atmosphere. Most mornings we got up early (sun rises very early compared to Texas) and drank coffee while observing the mule deer in the yard. Stay here if you get a chance. Great price for the area and owners are very helpful and easy to work with.
Spectacular 360 degree views, end of road privacy, close proximity to excellent hiking, 1-2 hours from 2 World Class ski resorts: Bridger Bowl and Big Sky, gated patio, peace and serenity on private acreage, minutes from Gallatin National Forest, the Absaroka Range and Yellowstone National Park.
